Hey everyone. Wanted to announce a rather drastic decision going forward.

As of lately, I've been losing my drive animating the Beast animation. I'm not finding the work as enjoyable anymore and it's becoming rather taxing and hard to invest into, even making me less eager to draw anything in my free time. That's not to say I'm announcing a complete halt mind you but rather a change in how I schedule my work.

I was able to make good progress at the start, pumping out between 3 - 6 scenes a month and that expectation is what's really weighing me down. It only hit me today that I realize why I'm feeling so overwhelmed and it's because (aptly speaking) Beast is too girthy now within the animation. He's easier to animate when he's closer to the source material but doing a now monstrously muscled body with lingering clothing details is taking way more effort to draw frame by frame. I keep trying to make sure I get at least 3 scenes done but even that might be too much.

I'm going to start alleviating the work by doing on/off streaming days where I'll free draw one day and do animation the next, to see how that helps my disposition. The art I make between days will be posted here for the duration of the month and then I'll consider making releases the next month. I hope everyone understands why I'm doing this as I know a lot of you are here to see the animation get worked on and finished but I am genuinely hating doing anything art related lately and I need something to change.

Don't overwork yourself trying to pump out animations, your work is good enough to wait for

Take it slowly and don't overwork yourself. I think this new schedule should work for you. Also take your time on your work.

If there's anything I've learned, it's that trying to brute force your way through a mental wall like that just makes you burned out AND miserable. If you ever want to get it done, you gotta find a pace and schedule that really WORKS for you. What you're doing is totally correct, keep on keeping on!

It *is* a massive (heh) project you're doing and it's important for you to pace yourself. Love your art and the animation is a big plus on top of it. Do what you need to get back in the groove. :3
