Hey, everyone! So, i wanted to talk a little bit about art block.

Art block, for me, is a bit differente from what it used to be one day. When we're beginners, art block is related to when we just can't have any ideas to draw, or even to start something, and it's pretty complicated to deal with, but with time we learn some "tricks" to avoid it.

Today, i suffer from a different art block, one that makes me feel lost in my work, not knowing which part i should do next. Questions like: "Should i paint the hair now?", "what color should i give it?". A good exemple is one of my latest works, "Gustavo" de pitbull, which i've catched myself looking at it for several minutes not knowing what should i do next to finish the drawing.

Coloring for me is like to follow a path. I know where i want to go, but this kind of art block lead me to think that any path i take will lead on a disaster.

Well, for now, that's the drawing, and i want to know from you if this one looks promissing. Thanks everyone who readed everything!Conversar em #geral

É complicado ter que lidar com isso, tenho problemas na hora de pintar também, como sempre tô aprendendo coisas novas é difícil manter um mesmo estilo enquanto eu busco o meu estilo próprio

I wonder if this kind of art block is motivation? Maybe you need to walk away from it sometimes to get water or take a break to find your ideas hidden in your mind! We were always taught that in design school

This is VERY likely to be. i'm really stressed out these last few weeks, this may be affecting my work. I also sometimes think that I don’t know enough so my work is impaired which often makes me give up on some projects ... I don’t want to give up on this one
