I had this Idea for the "Change" theme of AwsomeRebelKitty_art's and EmileeDoodles's Catratober...

... but even if I didn't draw it in time for that challenge I want to draw it anyway.

I have a lot to say with this comic, but I prefer talk about it better when the realization is started.

I left the dialogue in Italia, because they are temporary, so here is a description of the events:

Catra is attacking Adora in the wood. She's scared and say she doesn't want to fight against her.

But Catra wants to, so Adora can't help but defense her self, immobilizing her and remember they should be best friends.

Catra reverse their position and reiterates to Adora that the one who ended their friendship was her, when she left the Horde. But, Adora regain advantage over Catra, reminding her of their promise.

Adora asks Catra where was her when she discovered their entire existence was a lie... when she had to face a destiny much more bigger then her...when she needed her best friend the most!

In Adora's point of view Catra is the one who left and betrayed her.

But Catra turns into her corrupted version and reminds Adora that she was the one who asked Catra to stay on the lookout. If she feels alone, it’s only because she’s willing to fight and sacrifice for others more than she’s willing to fight for what she really wants, making the girl she loves suffer.

The only thing she can do now it's let oneself be devoured by guilt.

Adora is screaming Catra’s name, begging her to stop while crawling beings actually devour her.

A voice-over calls and tells her to wake up.

It was a nightmare. The royal Catra has short hair, her face upset and is trying to wake her up by shaking her gently. When she realizes that Adora is awake, she tries to reassure her with caresses and kind words.

There is an abysmal difference between the Catra in the nightmare, which belonged to the past, and the real Catra that is smiling at her now.

Adora is immensely happy that the nightmare is over.
