I'm not sure this should stay here... 6o6 I mean, I suppose you are here for Catradora or SPOP at least...Oh, well, if you don't care about it, just skip it! XP

The artistic-parents I was talking about are Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa, the "concept designers" of comics of my earliest childhood: W.I.T.C.H. and Monster Allergy. Today they are best known for having created the masterpiece "Sky-doll".

Their creations were very important to me.

I remember I've been very impressed by the drawings, the colors... and the fact that the protagonists had problems with their families too.

Thanks to Barbucci and Canepa I found the way to escape from reality.

A little before I received this ask, Barbucci gave an interview in which he told about his artistic influences too and I was amazed that we share two: Yukito Kishiro (author of "Battle Angel Alita") and Jamie Hewlett (the designer of Tank Girl, as well as character designer of Gorillaz).

After reading the interview I was dying to draw the characters created by Barbucci in the role of the characters created by Hewlett and Kishiro and I took advantage of this ask to do it. It was very funny! XP
