One of the things I struggle with as a creator and just personally throughout my life is keeping everything that I’m working on, or trying to do, public and visible.

For most people this would not be an issue but I have so many amazing people supporting me and my maps here on patreon or that follow my work, that I feel very responsible that I keep people in the loop.

With that in mind I am going to schedule some posts and tweets in the next few days so that there is always going to updates on things going forwards. This will be a monthly recap and outline of the things being worked on every month on patreon and tweets and posts on the discord that are fun little recaps or links to my work.

Bleeeh...

Now the reason I’m doing this is because over the last few weeks I’ve been feeling.. pretty bleh. The only really way to describe it is the quote from Bilbo in the Lord of the Rings “I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread.”

So far this has just meant that I’ve been very quiet and have not communicated much with people but I’ve still been working on things in the background. I think the main reason I feel this way is because I have a huge amount of things on my mind and I need to be a little bit more organized and relaxed. I’m currently looking at going away somewhere on holiday which might help as well.

Overall, this post is not anything to worry about. I’m absolutely fine and some cool maps will be going up soon (I’m working on a really amazing map right now as well) but I do think I should let everyone here know how I’m feeling from time to time.

I love you all very much and simply thanking you all for your support is never enough but… thank you all so much for your support here on patreon and generally being an awesome community! :) <3

Make sure to take some time for yourself, too! Between WotC streams, Deios, and Patreon you are next-level busy and none of us want to see you burn yourself out! I can't speak for everyone, but I am here to support *you* as the artist, not watch you work yourself to the bone. Art is a process of breathing—inhaling from the world and exhaling into art. It can be easy to forget that, so make sure you're 'inhaling' by reading a book, going for walks, and whatever else helps you recharge. Don't know about you, but we're a bit guilty of doing that sometimes. Either way, much love!

Hey Man, We'll still be here when you get back, take it easy.

Being in the creative workspace myself, this seems natural. Even aside from DnD, and DMing. You can only come up with so much cool stuff for people to use and experience before you just get worn out for a while. Nothing wrong with it, I'm sure you'll be fine. Take the time you need =)

Totally support you and appreciate your transparency! Take time to "recharge", get organized, and enjoy what you do. Rekindle your energy and passion.
