Voodoo Mangroves (Patreon)

I had such a hard time colouring this map. 

If you were atching the first colouring process on stream on tuesday or saw some of my tweets of this map then you will know that originally this map was purple and pink! However today I spent the last 10 hours re doing most of it from starch. I just coudlnt get the pink to look right as water.

However! I will be posting some different colour versions of this map tomorrow just for patrons where I have another go at different colours so perhaps I will try the pink version again :) 

This was a really interesting map to make and covers a location that I've not seen done before. “Mangroves are are a group of trees and shrubs that live in the coasts, in areas with low-oxygen soil, where slow-moving waters allow fine sediments to accumulate.” Combined with the Voodoo fantasy element I think this is a perfect map for an encounter and has so many ways to play. From witches to crocodiles, lizardmen or cults or even a social encounter with a wise old shaman character! 

There is a rain version included in the download as well as a version without the dominant glowing lights as well :)
