It was pretty difficulty to get some good photos of these three maps, the quality is pretty bad but you should be able to see what I’ve been working on!

I wanted to make something really epic for a dungeon map and settled on a beholder lair, for various reasons and this is the result :) I'm not great yet at perspective work so you may be able to spot a few mistakes that I can fix in photoshop :)

There are three maps in total with an entrance coming down from sandy or muddy hole (there will be two different colour versions at least) a long corridor with a rolling spike trap and a massive chamber at the end for the beholder itself! It's so big I had to take pictures on my kitchen counter :D

The line art is mostly done now and the last thing to do is make some books, scrolls and few other things as assets and scatter them around the end chamber.

Oh! and I have finished the line art for my version of a beholder token that will be accompanying this map as well but i'll save that for later :)

Wow. That looks so incredibly cool. I cant wait to see what color scheme you go with! There are so many that would look amazing with that line work to make for some visually stunning and memorable locations. Thank you! (Also in general, i dont know that ive seen many/any good beholder lair maps tbh so this will be super useful!)

OMG. I need this so much right now! My players think they are facing the true "king of the underdark", but I seriously think it would dope to have a manipulating beholder behind it all!

Murder Hobo Show

I really really like these long maps, I usually set obstacles along the way to overcome for my players.
