Quick thank you!!! (+NuzRea announcement) (Patreon)

Hello everyone!!! This is a little premature because we aren’t quite there yet, and it’s almost the end of the month so it’s probably gonna drop back down when some people drop their subscription (which is fine!) but thank you guys so much for almost $3000 a month!

Honestly I’m still reeling at how much support I’ve been given this year, I didn’t really ever anticipate it and I’m so greatful. You guys have no idea how much of a relief it is to me to be able to spend more time on actual animations while being able to maintain a stable income with patreon. I love YouTube a lot but especially this year it was getting really,,, emotionally taxing? I guess? Watching how dramatically my income could dip when I wasn’t posting as actively, and I’d end up feeling guilty even when I was posting frequently because I felt like I didn’t have any time to actually work on my frame by frame animations.

I’ve recently picked up some older animation projects I had dropped and started plotting out some new ones since I feel safe enough to take the extra time to make content that’s shorter by nature (I’m still making my storytimes and speedpaints and other longer videos though, of course!) BUT I also had the chance to talk to some people about getting funding for my nuzlocke comic dub series. I did all the math to find out exactly what it would cost me to be posting one episode a month, and that number came to $7000, so that’s what I pitched. Unfortunately, they rejected the initial pitch, but we’re reconvening next week to talk about smaller financial numbers they could potentially help me with. Nothing is set in stone, so I don’t know how that will turn out, but I did decide to make that my new long term goal, because of how excited and inspired I was in the brief period of time before they rejected my pitch when I was planning the new upload schdule. I’m going to keep making episodes in the meantime as quickly as I can, but I wanted to let everyone know that officially, if my patreon ever get’s to the point where it’s making $7000 a month, I can put out everything that goes with a NuzRea episode each month (so the dub episode, the release party streams, the blooper reels, and once we get far enough into the story, the original music videos that accompany some episodes 👀)

This isn’t me asking anyone to start pledging more, I just wanted to update you guys on my intentions/what’s been on my mind c: my nuzlocke dubs really are my favorite series, I’ve got a lot of things in the works that I’ve been looking forward to for a long time, especially these music videos. I’ve been thinking about them a lot lately and getting all antsy, I’m really looking forward to when I can share them.
