Hallo! I found this randomly sitting in a sony vegas file, so I thought I'd render it. Not that long because there is another part to this somewhere I'm sure. Though it's a couple of months old so whatever I rambled about it probably irrelevant.. :D

What do you do with the rhubarb? Rhubarb here (US Mid-Atlantic states) is a very early crop. I can only buy it at the local farmers market late spring, coincident with strawberries. It is not by accident that strawberry rhubarb pie is my absolute favorite, and one of the few dessert things I bother to make fresh instead of buying ready-made at a store. Store-bought pies are too small. Strawberry rhubarb pie, and apple pie (the other dessert I'll make) need to be oversized, warm, and served with vanilla ice cream.

... oh, and chocolate mousse is also in the top three desserts, but difficult to properly make.

We would put it on a table out the front of our house with a pot for people to put money in for a bundle! Proper trusting isn't it haha. And of course we'd eat some of it too, rhubarb pie or just rhubarb and custard. ooh never had strawberry rhubarb pie, sounds good though!
