Rekindling an Old Friendship (Patreon)

Based of an AU of the Fates storyline.

Crimsonite Lulu was saved from the galactic cultists called the Undone, who were planning to sacrifice her by the mercenary and old friend, Alton. They had plenty of close calls from the cultists and by Lulu's daring ideas, but ultimately they escaped.

As they fly away towards friendly space in Alton's ship, they reminisce about the simpler times before cultists or the Aurelian War. Buried feelings as well as the stress of recent ordeals brought a yearning between them to surface and expressed it eagerly in Alton's personal quarters while the autopilot took over.
