Hello Everyone:),

It's the time of the month again for fresh content. I worked on the 3rd Part of my Grove Set, this time focusing on interior items.

The Bed: A few months ago I stumbled across this bed with tassels hanging down from the canopy and I fell immediately in love with it, now finally I could create it. There is an option with crosses and one without, and also a single bed which you could use for your children's room, maybe :). I decided to have the crosses on the bed as some southern European interiors have a  slight catholic vibe to them.

Seating: One important inspiration was Masseria in Puglia, Italian farmhouses. Many of them had a beautiful informal look, therefore I wanted a cozy-looking couch covered by a drape, which was super fun to make. To bounce off the cozy vibe I  combined the sofa with a rather geometrical armchair and loveseat. You will also get a wooden accent armchair.

Paintings: I recently got a graphics tablet to start creating my artwork for the game. Last month when Harrie visited, we went to the 'Altes Museum' in Berlin and saw lots of beautiful sculptures from ancient Greece, which I took pictures of. Those Photos were the starting point for my sketches which I turned into paintings. They will either come wall-mounted or leaning against the wall.

Walls: I saw gorgeous tiled walls in Lisbon all hand-painted, Azulejos. I only wanted to make a sketch test and didn't have high hopes it would turn out well, but in the end, I was so happy with my hand-drawn and simyfied version that I turned them into walls for the game. The tiles are 3d modeled and then projected onto a 2D texture to have some extra cute reflection in the game. I created Wall decals too so you can place Azulejos here and there:).

This was the same with my Moorish-inspired tiled walls, everything was 3d meshed and projected onto a plain texture. In the same vibe, you will get floors and a column too.

Additional: I created painted spandrels, a Moorish wall lantern, and a traditional end table with twisted legs, altogether 32 items

I hope you like this set and I can't wait to see how you are using these items. Once again thank you so much for everything and thank you for the motivating messages and comments!

Best wishes,

Felix xxxxxx

Hi! I just downloaded this set (beautiful!), but I'm having an issue with the bedding. When I go to place it, the bedding color turns to a multi colored question mark and disappears. Any tips or tricks to fix this?? Thanks! Love your work!

Kristen

this happened to me to and it was because I removed the beds with the crosses. I now only have the double bed with the crosses and not the single bed and both versions without crosses now work. not sure if that helps
