TL;DR: Slowly churning through the schoolgirl animation, making assets for it, and released the fireplace from the Christmas thing

Hope everyone had a good December holiday!! I had a p good one this time. Usually, it's stressful, but it wasn't actually too bad now, without all the extended family dinners. 

Sometimes I sit around and double-check things a million times before rendering, but I'm trying to get better at just rendering something and then checking if it's good enough; Just to speed things up. This time, I made a couple mistakes, one a bit worse than the other, lol. 

Here you'll see Max unbuttons Luego's cardigan only to find that there is actually a second cardigan beneath it. Obviously, it's not supposed to be like this lol. Doesn't take too long to re-render though, with the render farm, thankfully:

You'll notice both the shirt and the cardigan are unbuttoning at the same time... I just thought it would be less tedious even though it doesn't make sense lol. If it's disturbing, then I can change it later.

This goof is less noticeable:

It's just that Luego's pants have normals that are too strong, so I'm re-rendering this. There's also some clipping going on in Helen's hair, but it's p subtle so idk if I care to change it. It's for just a second anyway. 

You may also notice I upped the background in this shot. I'm thinking of adding trees in front of some of the windows as well. 

It looks like they're far away but it's really just a perspective trick! You've been fooled!

I also realized that I forgot to finish these closets, so I fixed them in case they show up in the background, or they fuck against them or something!!

I also figured out more of how I want the mannequin to be. Firstly I'm removing the skin completely because all I need is bones and muscles, and it was becoming difficult figuring out how to make a mannequin with skin, bones, and muscles, in a way that made sense lol. This is him before:

He's a little creepy and I acknowledge that lol. I've been planning to make spooky ghosts canon in the Struggles universe, so I was thinking maybe I could use him in a way. Maybe he moves around in the background sometimes?

I also released the fireplace I made for christmas, for Knight tiers and over.  

And additionally, I think I'm gonna stop tagging characters in the WIP posts, because I don't want to clutter their tags. I want for only animations and pinups/posters to show up when you hit the tag on a character, and not these posts. Maybe I'll tag their franchise instead, like if I have Velma here, I'll tag Scooby-Doo; If I have Helen here, I'll tag Struggles
