This week, I gotta say, it's been kinda rough. There's been some personal stuff going on, caused me major stress. Also p0rnhub purged my Velma video :( I hear it's gonna get reviewed once verification starts back up again, but It's frustrating to have to wait. Stressful too... But regardless, I did get some work done.

As you guys know, I restarted work on the Schoolgirl project, and I'm much more happy about this one. It's got three rendered cuts so far. I'll be updating the post today with the newest clip. It's pretty short, but that makes three clips rendered since last time at least. Now I'll be working on the unbuttoning scene, because that's the most difficult one, and then I'll probably jump around a bit between cuts. Some things I'm gonna need dialogue for, before I start lip-syncing and rendering.

One change I'm making to already rendered cuts is Luego's cardigan. It seemed so painfully flat to me, so I added geometry deformation to it, so the yarn has more depth. Idk if I think it's perfect but it's definitely better:

Here's an example of what it looks like in the latest render:

VS what it looks like in an earlier render:

You'll also notice if you compare this screenshot to the render in the Schoolgirl post, that the light looks different. I've spent a lot of time tweaking the light, actually.

Upper version is the early draft, lower version is the most recent render. You'll notice I've been playing with the light a lot. I think I landed at something I like!

Ths is what the cardigan looks like in the render I'm doing now; It'll be done in a few hours:

Additionally, I've been juggling the Christmas post... I'm kinda stuck on this bear rug lmao

I was trying to figure out how to keep the stop motion look and also do something that looks like fur...  And I was thinking of this guy in Missing Link by Laika Studios:

But My bear is definitely not quite there yet lmao... I was thinking if I made the fur clumps sharp like in this example, that it might look dangerous instead of comfy. But as it is, the bear looks pretty unpleasant to lie on. So Maybe I'll try the sharp looking fur like in the Laika movie.  What I definitely know is that I'm gonna give the bear black eyes:

Maybe it looks disturbing either way... Oh well :(
