As you guys know I released an animation last week. So that's where most of my time went, BUT

I've been kind of daydreaming about what the game Noodls plays is gonna be like. The universe she lives in is supposed to be a future alteranate earth where the outside is too polluted to breathe in, so most people spend their time inside. It makes sense to have escapism games that are the total opposite. So I wanted the game to be kind of a fantasy sci-fi combo. So far I'm imagining it as an MMO with game mechanics from BoTW and Animal Crossing. Everyone gets their own island which they can customize, but they can also travel and explore. About the story itself, I've been storyboarding and its already went through a couple iterations at this point. I've attached a .zip with the storyboard! It's pretty tame when it comes to the smut part, cause I want the animations to be mostly character skits, and then maybe I can do the NSFW separately. 

Here's a first draft of Noodls' island: 

Every island starts with a monolith which will be used as a way to fast travel and store items. It's like the representative of the island. I'm thinking it starts out as just the floating box and expands as you level up!

Noodls is basically done, so I started sketching out her 3D avatar too:

Just trying to block out her shapes so far. Starting out, she'll just have simple active wear, and I'm thinking she'll find more exciting clothes further in. I saw a design earlier of a chick who had BDSM ropes in her outfit and I was like wow, I gotta use that. Soooo I'm thinking an item she finds pretty early is rope, which she uses to make an outfit! So that's what the white lines under her clothes are here: 

My friend who has ADHD told me I should get tested for ADD, I think that might explain why I have to work on so many projects at the same time? I'm not sure, I don't know that much about it. Anyways, I started adapting the tutorial girl I shared on twitter earlier for the art style I want the game to have. Mostly just experimenting so far. I saw some anime 3D models that inspired me earlier. I'm using her as practice cause I want to know what I'm doing when I get to Noodls: 

Mostly just working on her face. There's something off about it. I think I made her mouth too small. After her face I'll do her hair and add some extra textures. She's rigged already so that'll be all I need. Maybe later on I can do some lewd stuff with her : - )

This is where we first see the tutorial girl, she'll just be babbling on in the background completely ignored by Noodls, so she doesn't have to be perfect when I render this scene. I'd like to have her pop up later though, maybe she'll be the AI in the monolith. 

I've also been thinking a little bit about what kind of story to tell with the Blonkers. So far I'm imagining a story about washed up girls with a useless degree in their late 20s, they've been looking for meaningful jobs but just can't find it. Helen is the main character and she's disappointed with how her life is going. That's when she encounters an agent who thinks she could be successful as an adult star, which will eventually turn into a crazy and goofy career that gives the girls excitement in life. I haven't gotten to make a storyboard for it yet but I'm imagining it in my head! 

Oh also I forgot to show y'all last week but I put some work into the Evangelion animation:
