You should get one of those "fosfor" plates that glows after being exposed to xray. Had 1 when was working at dental Xray machines.

Weird! Fixed I hope. My source file doesn't have that problem and it's 4k60fps ... must have been a YouTube render glitch, because that vid only was available in 1080p. Yeah, we are dog-sharing sometimes because with 2 of these high energy specimen it's difficult for 1 human to keep track of em. I only get to walk both on bad weather days ...

Did you fry the tube ow was that just some arcing outside the tube?

outside luckily! cathode to filament - if that happens and the PSU isn't grounded correctly, it would jump to me through a potentiometer knob, that's what that silicone tube was for

eBay or the local equivalent of craigslist. In Germany specifically there's also https://yellowmed.com where you can sometimes find free ones, if you dismantle an entire system
