When we had our dog (a Corgi) I would drive an R/C car around. When I made it stop she would nudge it with her nose and bark then look up at me because she knew I was making it go. She loved it.

So he's not used to changing objects position, or he's not used to objects changing their position.... I know it's a bit "grammar nazi" (as we say in the so-called free world) but "moving objects" in your house could have a wide range of meanings.
