Commander Shepard stood there with Miranda Lawson to her right and Samantha Traynor to her left as they awaited their orders. The trio of women had been personally summoned by the Quarian Admiralty Board to discuss an unknown issue that had been bothering their Quarian counterparts. Normally, Shepard, the hero of rannoth, would be treated with far less hostility, but she figured that this new issue made the Quarians more strict in their conduct.

She remembered vividly the message she received in regards to the summons.

*Commander Shepard, your presence has been requested. A single shuttle will be dispatched to pick you, and no more than two other people, up and deliver your team to the Citadel. No synthetics.*

A gruff voice broke Commander Shepard from her recollection.

"Commander, your team is good to go. Three people only, and no synthetics."

A few minutes later, the same shuttle that had delivered Ashley Williams and Kaidan Alenko to the Citadel arrived with much grace as the shuttle docked with the indicated ship. As Commander Shepard boarded the shuttle, she thought it was strange that the Quarians were seeking an audience with such small groups as opposed to the entire crew. However, it was possible that each unit was getting briefed on a potential mission which related to those individuals and their personal skills. After all, Tali had told her to bring Miranda and Samantha along for the ride. There must be a reason for that.

After a relatively short trip the shuttle landed and Commander Shepard and company disembarked. Only seconds after stepping foot off of the shuttle, they were greeted by two teams of Quarian marines, all heavily armed. The leader of the Squad stepped forward and activated her omnitool. After consulting the glowing orange display for a minute, she nodded once to another quarian, then stepped back into line.

The other Quarian stepped forward. "The Admiralty Board will now speak with you."

Shepard could only wonder why she was being treated like this, it was reminiscent of when she had first met the Quarians. Surely this meeting, which she was summoned to, wasn't so grave that all of her past deeds of heroism were being ignored.

Miranda and Samantha began walking down the corridor with Shepherd. The three humans were flanked by the quarian marines, closely guarded. The convoy passed multiple turn-offs and corridors which had even more Quarians staring back at them. These Quarians were dressed in medical gowns and looked to be getting ready for some procedure. 'Something big is going down.` Shepard couldn't shake this uneasy feeling she had as she continued down the hallway.

After several minutes of walking down patched metal floors, stepping over various cables and navigating the maze like layout of the Citadel, they finally came to a large open room whose size and lighting was of much higher quality than the rest of the ship. It even contained a tree in it.

Shepard noted that her friend Tali, and her "Auntie", Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonbay, was standing on a large metal platform, with three other high ranking Quarians. Shepard recognized one of the other Admirals as none other than Admiral Daro'Xen vas Moreh. Before anyone could say a word, the Quarian guards rapidly spread out across the chamber, taking up positions, covering the humans.

It took only moments for the tense situation to make Shepard wonder if she had wandered into a trap. The hostile silence definitely wasn't helping her mitigate that building feeling.

Suddenly, as if answering her growing paranoia, Admiral Daro'Xen vas Moreh spoke up.

"We've selected you all for a noble mission. You'll be helping our species repopulate." Daro'Xen stated before giving a physical gesture that caused all of the Quarian marines to spring into action. Before Shepard could even blink, she felt the back of a Quarian weapon strike the back of her skull. Without warning, everything went black.

------

As Commander Shepard came to, she felt her body being forced into a fetal position. A Quarian nurse brushed what looked and felt like lubrication all across her midsection and breasts. The slick gel like substance seemed to cover every inch of her body, save for her face, but that didn't last long. The Quarian nurse brought a cold handful of goop onto her forehead, slowly rubbing it over her face until it suddenly felt paralyzed. From how cold the top of her head had felt, Shepard knew that they had shaved her while she had been incapacitated. Regardless of what they had done to her while she was unconscious, Sheppard was more concerned with what they were going to do to her now.

"Uggh"

Shepard tried and failed to even move a muscle. Her limbs seemed to be paralyzed and completely useless to her. She then tried to speak, trying her hardest to say even a single word. Hell, she could barely produce a mere utterance as the nurse working on her stopped what she was doing and gazed down at her nude form, smiling.

"Don't you worry, sweetie. You'll be inside your mommy's belly soon enough."

This shocking revelation caused Shepherd to grunt and groan as she did her best to fight back. Sadly, she was truly trapped inside her own body, truly a prisoner inside her mind who was about to be a prisoner inside some strange Quarian woman.

After seconds of struggling, Sheppard had managed to get a different angle of view from where her head rested and she saw Tali's naked body. Her legs spread wide by stirrups and a fleshy purple rope hanging out from her vagina.

'What the hell is going on?!'

The long, fleshy purple umbilical cord that was dangling from Tali was grabbed by the Quarian Nurse. The nurse brought the long purple cord closer to the paralyzed Commander and pressed it into Shepard's navel. Despite being numb from head to toe, Shepard could feel a stinging sensation radiate outwards from her stomach all across her body. It felt like it was drilling into her belly button! What made matters worse was the fact that, as soon as the cord was fused into her body, it started pulling her up to the awaiting lips of her new mother's glistening vagina.

Tali simply smiled at Shepard, waving at her in a cruel and sadistic manner as the paralyzed woman simply laid there on the conveyor belt. The Quarian looked down in awe as she saw that her lover was literally about to kiss her sopping wet vagina. Luckily for Tali, her gaping pussy had already been numbed and her legs’ were spread wide in anticipation as each foot was resting in the birthing stirrups. Still, no amount of numbing solution could prepare Tali for what came next.

"ARRGGHHH!!!"

Tali screamed towards the ceiling as she felt the snake like tendril of flesh pull Shepard into her birth canal. There was so much pain! Even though Tali's body was doing most of the work, the nurses started to help speed up the process. They started by slipping Shepard's feet into the dilated, open birth canal, which only served to create new disgruntled cries from Tali. Sadly, she could do little to help them, the body was designed to push children out, not take them in!

However, the mind boggling pain soon turned into pleasure as her former friend turned future baby was forced into her body. The way Shepard squirmed around as she was pushed deep into Tali's vagina caused the nerve endings to explode in euphoric bursts, ceasing their functions with one last hurrah of sexual stimulation. Tali soon found her shouts dying down, replaced by moans of lust.

The Commander felt warmth creeping up over her body as the nurses forced her deep into Tali, the throbbing heat claiming her body, inch by inch. Despite how bizarre and horrifying this situation was, she couldn't help but think about how pleasant the warmth felt on her naked skin, it was oddly familiar and comforting in its own, primal way. Deep down inside her mind, Shepard knew she was literally powerless to prevent this and accepted that there was no way out as her bald head was shoved into Tali, the darkness welcoming her to her new home for the next nine months.

As Shepard reached the womb, she felt her body orient itself into position as the womb filled with amniotic fluid. The warmth of the liquid spread as it was dissolving the cold, paralyzing solution. After accepting her fate, the Commander suddenly realized that she couldn't breath submerged under this liquid! She wondered how she was still alive, she should be dead but unbeknownst to Shepard, her body was being fed oxygen through her umbilical cord. It was a surreal experience as the alien cells multiplied and started to form the placenta that would be her home for the next three quarters of the year.

Shepard groaned out in pain, bubbles coming out of her mouth as she tried to break out of the fetal position, but it was no use. She was now trapped inside the womb of her former lover, her body useless to do anything more than simply kick randomly. Those little kicks consumed all of her remaining strength and only caused Tali to giggle. Shepard could hear the muffled laughter and even felt the hand of Tali press against the womb, most likely waiting for another kick. The Commander gave that Quarian bitch another hard kick!

"Oh my, she's kicking!"

Tali declared to her "Auntie", Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonbay. Her "Auntie" had just been impregnated by Ashley Williams. Both women were completely covered in sweat, pussies pouring out sexual fluids as they shared a grin.

"My baby girl is kicking too." Auntie 'Raan replied.

Tali couldn't help but look down at her belly with a smile on her face. She finally was going to be with Shepard forever! At first, she was unsure of Admiral Daro'Xen vas Moreh's plan to use the humans to repopulate their species, but now, there was no doubt in her mind that this was for the best. She sat there, running her hands over her taut stomach, thinking of how she was always going to be able to protect her little Shepard. Never would she worry about her bundle of joy getting into danger.

The next nine months were fairly uneventful for Tali. She would lay in bed, unable to move and be visited by doctors. These doctors would give her injections to help Shepard become the perfect specimen that the council was seeking. Of course, Tali had some objections, but the scientists assured her that her baby would be just fine.

One thing that the future mothers and the Quarian scientists agreed on was that they didn't want the women to be trapped on their backs for nine months. That, and the scientists didn't want their brave "carriers" to be in extreme pain due to carrying human sized babies for almost a year. So, with that sentiment in mind, the doctors decided that the former humans needed to be shrunken down to a smaller size.

During the first month of impregnation, Tali and the rest of the mothers were given various vaccines and drugs that were injected directly into their wombs. These chemical cocktails acted only on certain genetic sequences and created inhibitors inside the genetic code, that would dictate how Shepard "developed" inside her artificial placenta. Over the next five months, these injections caused her to gradually shrink down, foot by foot, until she reached a manageable size of three feet in length.

As the months went by Tali noticed that her baby was shrinking and was grateful for this, all the pregnant Quarians were. She remembered that first week, where all she could do was stretch her arms out and just barely be able to rub the sides of her engorged belly. Now, she could actually cradle her inflated gut, feeling every little movement that Shepard made within her womb.

Roughly halfway through the pregnancy, the day had arrived when the future Quarian mothers could actually get up and walk around! The very idea of being able to walk once more filled them with joy. No longer would they be bed bound, dependent on the diapers that were wrapped around their waists for going to the restroom. It was a momentous occasion when each Quarian got up and took their first steps with the aid of a nurse. The newly mobile mothers caused quite a stir for their future babies. After months of placid peace, the sudden movement caused a shift in weight which created a surge of amniotic fluid inside the womb. This unexpected swirling of fluid shocked Sheppard to a partial awareness.

The Commander panicked, remembering what happened to her and threw a massive fit, her weak limbs frantically kicking and punching against the darkness. Shepard didn't realize it, but she was literally throwing her arms and legs around spastically as she tried to fight her way out. However, she did little more than tire herself out as she pushed against the elastic, fleshy prison she had been trapped in for months on end. Her outburst only lasted a moment before she used up her remaining energy and drifted back to sleep.

Tali and Shala'Raan smiled at each other while caressing their bulging bellies.

“Shepard was so excited there for a minute.” Tali stated as she waddled over to her "auntie."

"My little Ashley was kicking up a storm too" Shala'Raan replied. "Something tells me that she's going to love going for walks around the hospital before I finally push her out”

The two Quarian mothers shared a deep laugh as they took their seats in the awaiting wheelchairs. It was going to take time for them to become truly mobile again, but the doctors were confident that their subjects were progressing well.

It only took a month for the women to be back on their feet without any assistance. However, every month, the expecting mothers were required to be examined at their council appointed visits. The doctors, during the course of each visit, would introduce more chemicals and "medicines". These new vaccines insured that Shepard would never get any taller once she was born. Once she reached her peak height of three feet tall, she was going to be stuck at that height forever!

Despite being imprisoned inside her fleshy water balloon, Shepard could still hear little snippets of her fate during Tali’s appointments with the doctors. One such visit told her that "little Shepard" would become heavier and grow fat once she was a "few months old." This shocked the fit and fearless woman to her core, she didn't want to become a blubber butt! However, thanks to the chemicals coursing into her body via the umbilical cord that kept her breathing and feed, her metabolism was slowing down. On top of that, they were secretly experimenting on Shepard with a new chemical that would neutralize her natural ability to process normal waste. She wouldn’t be able to produce anything less than a ten pound diaper once she reached her desired "butterball" status. This, combined with the inhibitors introduced to block her menstrual cycles, would guarantee that Shepard would never develop any womanly curves other than rolls upon rolls of fat.

About four weeks before her due date, Tali was scheduled for an ultrasound to see how Shepard was doing inside her womb. Tali was helped into a seated position and her pregnant stomach was exposed so that the doctor's could rub a translucent goo across her taut stomach. A wand was then slowly moved over her bulging belly which produced a brilliant image of what Shepard now looked like. Even though Shepard had been an adult sized human before being implanted into Tali's womb, her body had changed a great deal during the past few months of being trapped within her new mama. The umbilical cord had done more than just provide her sustenance, it had been feeding her the genetic material that made up her host.

“She looks just like me!” Tali cried out in amazement.

The doctor explained to Tali that, during the past year, Shepard's DNA was being rewritten, replacing her human genetic strands with Tali’s Quarian strands, leaving her an exact match with her new mother's DNA.

Not only would Shepard be Tali's daughter by blood, but all relation to her previous family was now slowly being slowly being severed. This meant that if someone tried to investigate the Commander's, or anyone else's disappearance, they would only find that the Quarians mated with the missing humans and gave birth to their distant offspring. A perfect cover provided by nature itself.

After that ultrasound the weeks seemed to blur together for Shepard. She found herself sleeping a lot more since there wasn't much else she could do in her organic sensory deprivation chamber. Shepard tried to keep her memories in order, but the passage of time made it so hard to focus on much of anything for long before falling back into a deep sleep. That was one thing she cherished; sleep. Her long slumbers kept her sane. Needless to say, she didn’t like being woken up. Being awake only led to her trying to figure out how long she’d been in Tali's womb.

Despite sleeping most of the time Shepard was still trying to keep herself sharp when awake. From what limited information she could hear from the occasional masculine voices, who she assumed were the doctors, Tali had fully regained her ability to walk again. This made sense due to the fact that her host was moving a lot more.

The first week that Tali was regularly walking around caused Shepard much distress. Every time Tali got onto her feet, she would wake Shepard right out of her restful state, causing her to kick weakly in surprise the entire time Tali was walking. It took roughly two weeks for Shepard to get used to this new reality and eventually settle down. She was carried everywhere by Tali and had to deal with it. Over time, she got over the rude wakes ups and started to pay attention to how she felt. It was like being in space! Like she was floating! The only part she really hated was whenever Tali got up or sat down. This caused poor Shepard to bob about like a buoy in the amniotic sea that was her warm womb.

Ever bathed in constant darkness, Shepard had slowly begun to learn more about was going on around her and worked out a crude schedule: Whenever the voices ceased and Tali wouldn't move for awhile, Shepherd knew that it must've been nighttime. Gentle snores told her that her future mother was asleep. During these times, Shepard would be forced to listen to the always present beats of Tali's heart; a soothing rhythmic tone that served as the "background music" of her womb. The former commander would always grow drowsy and fall asleep after listening to Tali's heart. Shepard's naptime would be interrupted by a sudden jostling when Tali got up in the morning. Shepard knew it was the morning because she would hear Tali's stomach growling behind her. This was a welcome noise to hear since it told the future baby woman that she would be fed too. After being fed, Shepard would fall back asleep and generally lose track of her "day". One thing she knew for certain was that whenever she was bouncing around, Tali was on the move.

Well, that wasn't the only thing knew for certain. Breakfast and Dinner time were events that the future Quarian was well aware of. Spicy food always caused her to get upset. She'd kick low from being fed such stimulating cuisine. Cold food too was an annoyance since it would very briefly cool down Tali's stomach which was right next to Shepherd's womb. Ultimately, anything that pissed the former Commander off would earn Tali a kick or four.

So much of this seemed to become automatic and beyond her control as time marched forward. Her day was literally sleeping and eating with bursts of kicking mixed in!

Shepard stretched a bit and tried not to think about how pathetic her days had become. She knew that this couldn't last forever and that, eventually, Tali would have to give birth to her. This fact was bittersweet since Shepard was still struggling during her waking moments with what her life had become. The former Commander was literally going to be a baby, albeit a miniature adult baby, for her former lover but she wasn't sure if she wanted to be born. The truth of the matter was simple; she hated the idea of being Tali's plaything! Once more she shook her head, trying to rid her mind of these truths and found herself falling asleep.

As she slept, her body was gradually shifting and rotating within the confines of her womb until she was perfectly positioned upside down in relation to Tali.
