Wait what?? Why was she treated poorly? :( that makes me sad… and yeah I definitely agree about all of that with Cassandra, I mean she really was a child when it all started :( damn… when you saw her neck 😭 poor poor Cassandra!

Because douchey Chad-bros on the internet didnt really understand her character. Marisha plays ENTIRE character arcs for her characters so Keyleth starts out super naive and she always has the tendency to be Vox Machina's moral compass. Like often she asks "are we really doing the right thing?" Idiots on the internet gave Keyleth and Marisha SO MUCH crap. And it still continues to this day. Her next character, Beau got the same treatment but for different reasons. Beau also is sort of a coming of age story but instead of starting out saccharine sweet and naive, Beau starts out as an arrogant asshole. But because her characters start off so flawed, they often have the most growth of any member of the cast. That's actually one of the main reasons they stopped including the live twitch chat in the streams, cause people were being so toxic. And after seeing Marisha get shit for SEVEN YEARS, seeing so many people who are unfamiliar with CR saying stuff like, "Keyleth is my favorite!" is so heartwarming and awesome!

Woooooooooooooooow!!!! That sucks!!! I’m glad she was able to continue despite that and do whole character arcs! I think it’s amazing! And way to ruin the fun for everyone else by getting the live chat stopped 😑
