An Update (Patreon)

With the research and playing about with Genesis 9 our schedule was delayed a little. The venture was worthwhile and there has been great reception over at RenderHub also.

There will be a lot to look forward to in the coming few months. We will be continuing to support G9 and G8/8.1. Both have their upsides and downsides and both have their set fan bases.

Myself and Asha are very much torn over it as I prefer G8 and she prefers G9, which is a good predicament to be in, as we will do both. Neither market has to lose out and for the most part it will be easy to support both Generations.

Moving forward we will be making Genesis 9 versions of our older roster as well as new characters. However it is sadly not as simple as just converting a model. Not all models can be converted well, as we found out with Joselito and Gus Jr.

Those we can convert do need tweaking and for characters will need new skin assets and texturing.

Neither of us foresee it as a problem. The only obstacle is time as we do not want it to impact too heavily on the releases.

It will be gradual and it will happen just not overnight. Our new morphs will all be released Gen 9 ready, aside from some males as it seems there is a lot of issues with men and G9, despite it being a "gender fluid" model.
