This race keeps getting better! It's still only the second out of three laps . . . and Races 3 and 4 are even better! I'm also glad to see the Angels getting a bit more characterization, rather than just for eye candy fanservice. Should have 2 more episodes of race (6-7), with Episode 8 being the end of the race plus + post race stuff. Should get through quali for Race 3 by the end of the season!

This episode was soo good. I get what you mean with the whole Ishigami spinout and wanting to get back in the race, but that is acctually something that can get you a black flag (disqualified) in motorsport if you don't listen to the stewards orders in a dangerous situation. And just fyi, both The Jungle is on fire and Speed Lover is acctually the first songs from the Initial D anime to be featured in MF Ghost, all other eurobeat song has been either "new" songs or songs that has featured in the non-canon Initial D games.

this episode was insane I was really hoping you would have reacted to the preview for episode 6 because I never seen Kanata that shook since koki passed him during his 86 testing in season 1

In fact, both Eurobeat songs used this episode were featured before in Initial D! - The Jungle Is On Fire by J-Stark (Initial D Final Stage, Act 2) - Speed Lover by Speed Man (Initial D Third Stage) Racing in the wet has a little bit more benefit as since you have less grip, you have way less tire wear, so the only limiting factor is how skillful you are in managing the tire traction.

kakeru recovered that spin by cutting the clutch letting all 4 wheels spin freely and most importantly he was very fast in spinning his steering wheel so the front wheels stayed pointing in the direction his car was going rather than the direction he was facing so they regripped up when he was facing more or less straight

akaba in the ferrari was the highlight of this episode and im so excited to see more of him, hes just so damn cool
