Upcoming Changes for August (Patreon)

 So after talking with someone in regards to my current commission model, it's been determined my model kind of sucks.

The current model is simply 4 commission slots, but these slots can have  stories that are very lenghly and take up a considerable amount of my  time to write. While I definitely do not mind long stories, I know there  is a better way to do things so I'm not spending 3-4 months working on  the same story with no slots for additional ones.

Henceforth, starting with August commissions, I will be changing my commission model.

The model will look like the following. Not quite finalized, but it's likely to be something like this:

Short story: $6 per 1k. (up to 5k words)

Medium: $5 per 1k. (up to 10k words)

Long: $7 per 1k. (up to 20k words)

Custom stories.

(Negotiable pay as I write price. You will be presented with weekly updates.)

NOTE: These stories are treated as 10k every month, as that's about how  much I'll write for 'very' long stories. The price however, will be  different.)

You can see medium stories don't have a price change at all, but the short and long ones do.

If you haven't noticed my Patreon or my Trello, I have a wordcount goal  every month. With this new model, I will have a 'much' better idea of  how I can take commissions when people request one of these tiers.

IE: Let's say I have a 50k goal and I'm open for commissions. I get four  medium story requests and now I have 40k/50k planned. I can 'not' take a  long request that month. However, if you want a long story, I can write 10k for it that month, and another 10k the next month. (You will be expected to pay the price of a long story in this case.)

My goal is currently 60k. Note that my goal is encouraged by Patreon donations, and can increase or decrease depending on that.

If I'm not making much money, that means I can't write as much here because that means I need to work more at my job.

My story of the month and current Patreons on the monthly story tier DO count towards this goal.

I'm hoping this will simplify things and allow more chances for commissions. Let me know if you have any questions.
