Toji casually remembered his son's name while speaking to an unconscious Geto and mentioning the word "megumi". That it means "blessing". Just shows us what a great parent he was 😂 Next episode is important, so I wouldn't mind if u stop or rewind to read, since the subs are always fast af. Either way we are here to clarify something u didn't understand. Nice reactions btw bro👍❤️

a few easter eggs for you starting off with Geto's curses: that massive cyclops curse that is used in the fight vs Toji was also used in JJK0 by Geto after he declares war on Jujutsu High and flies away on the bird, the curse that Inumaki and Yuta fight is actually also in the OP but is really hard to see without slowing it down. The curse that Toji uses to store his weapons is also used as storage by Geto in JJK0 with him obtaining it in the post-credits scene, a cool bit of symbolism is that Toji left Gojo his blessing(Megumi) and Geto his curse. You were spot on with the idea of Gojo becoming a god in this episode, the phrase "Throughout the heavans and earth I alone am the honored one" was the first words of the Buddha after being born showing that after he came to truly understand cursed energy he has become enlightend. Finally, a note on reverse cursed technique, as said in the show normal cursed energy is negative(made from negative emotions), and just like in math you multiply negative together to make a positive which is reversed cursed energy. The main application of reverse cursed energy is being able to heal but if you use a technique with reverse cursed energy it essentially provides the opposite effect(blue being attraction being turned into red which is repulsion). And a side note it took Gojo being pushed to the very edge after a whole life of living in jujutsu society to figure out how to use reverse cursed technique yet we saw Yuta in the movie was able to heal his friends after just a few months which should show you how much potential he has.

As much as I hate Toji, they did a great job with him as a villain, he’s only been on 4 ep but was a menace without even cursed Energy. That clapping scene tho......I honestly started to understand geto’s more after this disturbing scene. It’s just soo fucking sad to see everything crumbling down after we had a good start😭😭

EZ

My man Geto is on his Sensui arc

Next ep is one of the best directed EPS so far can't wait next week.

Great reaction again mate! I am glad someone else was attached to Riko like I was, she was so spectactular for the time she was there, her death devastated me even more in the anime. It is a strong opinion of mine that the reason modern day Gojo says that "No one is allowed to take youth from young people" is because of Riko. I also think the after credits scene is one of the best storytelling scenes we have in JJK. Geto being the moral compass that Gojo needed when he was in that enlightened state probably decided Gojos character, and is why Gojo changed so much. The two of them being seperated by the doorframe with Geto in the blue light and Gojo in the red is also amazing. Blue representing the negative energy, and red representing the positive energy. Also I think we aren't supposed to understand Reverse Cursed Technique. There is a reason it is so hard even for strong sorcerers, I always assumed the idea of multiplying negative cursed energy against itself was just the best explanation that could be put into words.

Thank you very much for the comment. Now I realise how actually talented Yuta is, that's crazy. Also you helped me understand how reversed cursed energy works.

Yeah, I think as well that Gojo is feeling very strongly about protecting the youth because of Riko. That scene after ending was truly incredible! Ty for watching and for being here man.

So the after credits scene is why I told the Red/Blue Oni story. That's where I believe Geto's switch began. We have the Red one, Geto, on the side of humanity, like the Red Oni who wanted to be friends with the humans. Then we have the Blue one, Gojo, the only honored one in Heaven and on Earth, separate from humans like the Blue Oni who didn't care about the humans either way. To me it's important to note that when Gojo asked if he should kill the humans, they hadn't switched positions yet. Geto is still in the doorway of the Red Hall when he tells Gojo not to kill the humans. It's only after that that they're position switches. Gojo, trusting Geto's conscience, moves into the red hallway, the side of the humans. Geto, on the other hand, is now in the blue room, set apart from the humans. Set apart from the monkeys. It's a great scene.

That is so poetic and incredible honestly, thanks for sharing such a cool detail man, I appreciate that scene even more.
