Gojo and Geto flexing their powers in this one, gotta love it, but Fushiguro guy seems very intimidating, when he steps into spotlight things are for sure gonna get rough. It appears that he knows a lot about Gojo so perhaps he might have some sort of plan.

I was planning to comment this on the movie post but I thought it would be better to write it here to make sure you see it. The movie was adapted from chapter 0 of the manga. In the manga industry, chapter 0 is considered as a test or pilot that the mangaka make to use as a sample when proposing to magazines for publishing. Shonin Jump accepted JJK but asked the writer to change the mc and so he did but I respect him for not throwing the chapter plot way and instead build on it.

So, the story in this comment shows up a lot in anime and in media of all kind, you just don't know it, or maybe you do and this is a useless comment. It'll annoy me if I don't post it though~~ Once upon a time, a kind-natured demon named Red Oni lived in the mountains. Red Oni wanted to become friends with the humans and live together with them in the village. But when the villagers saw him, they screamed, “Here comes the demon!” and escaped in fright. When Blue Oni heard Red Oni’s story, he said, “I’ll go down to the village and cause lots of trouble. Then you can come and knock me out, and the villagers will see that you’re a friendly demon and will play with you.” Red Oni wasn’t sure, but Blue Oni went to the village and started to cause trouble. Red Oni followed him, and hit him on the head. “C’mon, hit me harder.” “I’m sorry…” As so Red Oni became known as a kind demon who saved the village, and the villagers befriended him. One day, Red Oni became worried about Blue Oni, and went to his house to check on him. But Blue Oni was gone, and on his door was a note. “Dear Red Oni, I’ve gone away on a journey. I know that if you keep hanging out with me, the villagers will get suspicious. Goodbye. Forever your friend, Blue Oni” Red Oni read and re-read the note, and cried and cried. ~~ So, the story itself has an entire rabbit trail I'm going to follow but I do want to say I think this story adds a lot to a scene this season. No spoilers, but also you'll know the scene. Now for the rabbit trail. This story is the origin of "The Red/Blue Oni trope." I know you noticed it, whether you knew it or not. Anime always seems to have two main characters, two heroes, sometimes the hero and villain, sometimes side characters but they are always red and blue. Like Naruto and Sasuke, Luffy and Zoro, Gon and Killua, Goku and Vegeta, Light and L, Rem and Ram, Yuji and Megumi. The list goes on and on and if you hadn't noticed it by now you will in the future. Anyways, the red coded one is always impulsive and fiery, like just deciding they wanted to be friends with the humans, the blue coded one is always a planner and a thinker, like coming up with a plan to get the humans to like the red Oni. It's also why I think purple for Gojo is brilliant. He's impulsive and fiery. "Let's save Sukuna's vessel" but he also is excellent at coming up with plans and carrying them out. It's not just anime that does this, western media does too. If you've seen Supernatural then we've got Sam and Dean, iron Man and Captain America, Superman and Batman. It's a really cool trope that is too widespread for me to believe there isn't something fundamental to it. It's kinda wild.

Damn, Gojo's purple hits differently right now, thanks man. I do know about the Oni story haha, it was actually told almost word by word in Re;Zero episode. There is very often two of exactly those types of characters, it's really interesting.
