Sorry guys, I completely forgot about this. The trailer looks AMAZING! It's so much more than I hoped for.

I agree, the trailer looks great :D There are so many easter eggs as well! The producers worked together with a big One Piece youtuber to get small details right. You can see people wearing clothes with a star design that was designed by Pappag the starfish from Sabaody arc, and they even payed attention to the wine brands that appear. The various clothes from the main crew are also based on the manga chapter cover panels. There was even a wanted poster for a character you haven't met yet. Also, the series will be dubbed in Japanese by all the main voice actors from the anime so that's pretty dope. The actor playing Luffy even met Luffy's voice actress and it was quite wholesome haha :D I would be down for reactions btw

I'm hoping/predicting that nami betrays the crew in baratie and calls arlong over to steal the crews stuff. In the anime she just leaves with the merry wich is less impactful imo. Then the 'help me' scene is more powerful and arlong is hyped up more. I also think that don krieg might be skipped or his fight with Luffy will be short. Seems like a tough fight to make in live action.

So many cool things man, thanks for sharing this, I'm so hyped about it after watching this trailer. Teaser was good, but this blew me away literally. Japanese VA's dubbing will be so much fun as well! :D

That would be perfect! I also think that would be way more impactful than her just leaving. I wouldn't mind them skipping Don Krieg fight, it's probably really hard to do with his weird weapons lol

I Love one piece for its art, expressive character designs, dialogue and humor that can only be achieved through animation, so personally I'm not a fan of this.

That's perfectly fine man. You have a point after all, because One Piece has a really unique art and character designs and it's a big part of why the humor works and it's impossible to translate into live action. I'm just glad that people involved seem very passionete and the sets look really stunning, at the very least it shouldn't be that bad. :D
