I can't add much more to the analysis, you pretty much nailed it. I will talk about the ending song, though. First of all, it's sung by Emilia herself, and it's all about the suffocating loneliness she feels. We don't know much of her history yet, but based on the prejudice towards her, we can assume that she's probably been on the edge of society for a long while. The visuals are an interesting contrast; in the foreground is her alone in the mansion, with the other characters who will come to care for her in the background. The lyrics are as follows (kind of sad): Why can't I find this missing piece? I don't know what it is, but something feels so incomplete Our fates have become misaligned But even knowing that we'll drift further apart, I'll keep moving on I stay alive Through the darkness, I'll push on through all the loneliness This unexpected pain in my heart never fades

I guess the author is sticking with Subaru´s bad negotiating skills since the very beginning with Felt and Elsa. He basically did similar mistake, he showed how badly he wants something and why he wants something. But he has nothing to offer now so he went full greed mode and his mental state is much worse now, although Subaru can be pretty smooth talker sometimes, he should build on that. I like how Subaru was projecting him self on others "why is everyone so useless?" It´s like a copium to keep him going I guess.

Omg I thought it sounded like her, but I wasn't sure, that's so nice! The lyrics are very sad, I'm guessing it's about her and Subaru. I'm just waiting to see more about her backstory, she has probably been through a lot.
