I absolutely love this season so much, not much action happening but my god the characters and mature themes are what im here for I didn’t read the manga but I’ve heared from multiple friends that this season is adapting the manga to absolute perfection from adding many original scenes or focusing on facial expressions and detailed face/hands.

This episode really was beautiful, as you said. It's the one that really sold me on season 2 and for me it's only gotten better as the season goes on. I love Thorfin and Einer's relationship. When Thorfin says, "Thank you, Einer.", only to go on to say, "I'm sorry, Einer." .. That gets me teary eyed. This is like the first time we've ever seen Thorfin's character say thank you to someone AND apologize to someone.
