Definitely lived up to it's hype, extremely entertaining, well paced show with amazing characters and amazing animation/ost. I can't wait to see the continuation of this show, especially because the way they ended this episode is guaranteed to make everyone hype! :D

Tomorrow I'll post a poll for new show and will also upload first two episodes of Vinland Saga.

Oh and that nut kicking contest is something that many of us who've read the manga were looking forward to with great anticipation. Fujimoto is wild, and Mappa adapted it perfectly. It's nice to see Aki let loose every now and then, and it was this weird but wonderful bonding moment between him and Denji, which we don't get to see very often when it comes to those two.

This anime really grew on me. It was really slow after the first episode, but they stepped up big time with the character building and animation. Its funny how Himeno appeared in only 4 episodes, 1/3 of the show and yet she is still my favorite character. Those Himeno flashbacks are just so good, masterclass. They bring out every emotion. Looking forward to next season!

Himeno's character was really fantastic. I also enjoyed how much detail was put into these scenes, it looks beautiful, I feel like there's not a single frame wasted in this show, it's very cinematic and I enjoyed that a lot!
