Bro I saw so many dark things in HxH like people straight up biting off opponents heads, poking through someones brain with sticks, children getting devoured, ripping out hearts, sqeezing people to death and many sorts of massacres and yet Togashi somehow makes something even more messed up. It's insane that we all knew that Kurta clan was slaughtered, but when you finally read how it went down it's sooo much more worse than I imagined, and only text is shown without any visuals, that's how awful it is... Also these Kakin bastards are seriously ill, especially 4th prince and what was that abomination of a nen beast... I need some holy water for my eyes. xD

Oh boy, 3 chapters of HxH - Marko really is treating us this week! Super glad to see there were no issues with volume 0. Damn volume 0 really hits super hard though... We all knew the fate of the Kurta clan from the very first page, but that only makes it hurt even more. Pairo was such a kind soul and seeing that talk before Kurapika departs is such a tear-jerker - only to be followed up with the horrifying description of the clan's massacre. Such graphic scenes conveyed so strongly with just text. The worst part of volume 0 is the implication that Kurapika probably contributed to the massacre of his clan. As his parents were discussing, the clan's periodic relocation allowed them to avoid being hunted for their eyes for the past hundred or so years. Word of the Kurta definitely spread from that town after seeing Kurapika's Scarlet Eyes, revealing the clan's whereabouts to those hunting them. Had Kurapika and Pairo not hidden the fact they failed the test and revealed themselves to the town, the clan would probably have relocated - potentially avoiding their discovery and massacre. Another great chapter as well with the introduction of the princes and plot thickening as we see the seed urn ceremony. Your reaction to the King's disgusting guardian spirit beast was absolutely hilarious lol An important note for next week's chapter, there is no blank end page because it's the end of the volume. It will say 'Vol 33. End' at the end of the last page, stop there or you'll accidentally jump into the next chapter. Catch you next week!

Lets go! I don't want to spoil anything but keep the note that the troupe left at the kurta massacre in mind! It is important for understanding things later! Also in the anime we actually see the third prince at the Yorknew auction. Lol he's only there for like one frame but it's pretty cool none the less. 😁

Thanks for the long video! That nen beast was absolutely disturbing, but i think they are very interesting and some of them are gonna be really crazy :D Looking forward to the next chapters!

There is some context to that note at the end of chapter 0 that was left out of the anime, but is part of the manga. If you are interested, you can read chapter 102 (part of the Yorknew Arc) of the manga. Then reread the note at the end if chapter 0. But only do that if you want. It technically isn't a spoiler since this is information from the past, but I can also understand wanting to just continue without jumping back.
