AHE: Rebecca's Car (Patreon)

   The first of our set of Rebecca's Car illustrations, as this won the background batch poll with 42 out of 146 votes. The runners up were Westerlin Hotel backgrounds with 36 votes and Vendor's Room with 20 votes—as such, those will be our August and September batches. After those, we'll run a new poll for groups of backgrounds with some new options in the mix.

   Though her model of car will have an in-story bland name and logo, Rebecca's car is loosely based on a 2003 Subaru Outback. I didn't think a wood-paneled relic from the 80's fit the story time, as that would, at this point, be a very old car rather than just an old car. Early 2000s-era station wagons seem very soccer mom to me and fit with the Rebecca aesthetic.

   Coming up next is Rebecca's Car Interior, and then after that we'll finish up the batch with a parked Rebecca's Car shown from the rear with doors open and doors and rear hatch open.
