   Zaph is now partway through the third character sheet for us. Because of his workload, I started networking some unconventional options for background character art for us to use for some of the convention scenes. Besides AnimeCon Harem, two other visual novel projects hire Zaph to regularly do character sheets for them—both of which feature a lot of designs that can easily be repurposed into cosplayers.

   Chewie's working on a visual novel called Asher Valley, and is allowing us to use his designs for AnimeCon Harem. The plan will be to send Zaph $10 for a quick edit: convention lanyards with badges, water bottles, cell phones or cameras, modern shoes, backpacks, convention guides, et cetera. Much cheaper and faster than having Zaph do up our own original background character cosplayers, and he already has a large list of higher priority characters to work on, anyways.

   Wraiith303's working on a visual novel called Infinite Stars, and has likewise allowed us to trade character designs. In return, Steph and Kelly faces may find their way onto the crewman of a spaceship! I was already able to have Zaph do a quick edit on the Infinite Stars characters:

   I'll at some point commission Zaph to do a small batch of more ordinary convention attendee background characters facing right and left, or photographer characters facing away from the player / towards some of these cosplayer characters with their cameras.

   Putting up the poll for June backgrounds on the 25th, and we should be seeing a Steph (sitting version) from Zaph that'll work for the Kelly/Steph hallway conversation and the truth or dare game before the end of this month. Look forward to it! [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅]
