Chloe may disdain cheap hotel rooms, but I think they have a certain kind of cozy charm to them. Staying at fancier, more upscale accommodations often feels like a waste to me when my trip's focusing on the convention itself.

Feel like our artist did a great job here, because the scene definitely evokes a strong sense of familiarity. Most of us have probably stayed in this exact room at some point or another.

Quite a bit of the story takes place in Brian's room, so expect a lot of different environment assets focusing on this location! I don't think I can afford to fit any more backgrounds into my April AHE budget, but starting off the project with these assets seems like a brilliant start to me. Let me know what you think! ( ͡°Ɛ ͡°)

Interesting. For some reason I've always pictured a hotel as something with internal hallways. This is what I would've pictured if Brian was staying in a motel rather than a hotel in my mind.

There are "villa style" hotels that have an "upscale motel" feel to them without internal hallways, but when I've traveled for cons, my view of accommodations has always been "as cheap as possible while still being comfortable and bug free", because I'd rather spend my money at the con rather than on hotel.

The villa style ones were prevalent in both LA and FL where I went to cons. Relatively upscale hotels, but they want access to your room to force you to walk by their snazzy pool features with outdoor grill / bar and several jacuzzis.

One nitpick: in the night image, the lamp is on, but the mirror reflecting it directly to the left doesn't show it.
