Good morning! Stephanie thought, stretching with delight as her mind roused itself back awake after what had been a long night. I feel... absolutely fucking amazing.

Like anyone else, the pink-haired girl had her good mornings and she had her bad mornings—this one just seemed so high up the this is wonderful scale that she didn’t even know what to do with herself. Stephanie felt so well-rested and energized that running a quick marathon sounded like it might be fun. Her mind was working with such precision and clarity that it was a shame she didn’t have any exams she could ace today. The raw joy she felt at simply being alive today was overflowing and she felt determined to share as much of this exuberant feeling with the world today as she could.

“G’mornin’, Sunshine,” Brian murmured in a sexy whisper.

“Good morning!” Stephanie beamed with happiness.

Her entire body lit up and flushed with pleasant heat at the sound of his voice, and Stephanie turned her megawatt smile on the soft pillow to discover Brian had been sleeping next to her. No, not just next to her. She realized that all four of them were nestled together in the center of the bed, that her own naked back was resting atop his arm.

I’m... naked! HE’S naked, we’re both—we’re ALL naked together beneath the covers, Stephanie realized.

To her own shock, she didn’t feel uncomfortable or embarrassed being a part of the nude press of warm bodies cuddled up together. She felt… restless contentment, a peculiar sort of satisfaction with just a dash of thrill. There was no part of her that felt exposed or vulnerable being nude around Emily, Kelly, and Brian— each of them was a wellspring of trust and love. The hint of thrill… well, that was because she was a little interested and excited about their naked bodies, and no particular reason to feel ashamed of her attraction.

“How do you feel?” Brian asked in a low voice.

How do I feel?! Stephanie wanted to giggle, but she found herself too mesmerized by the lovely hues within Brian’s green eyes. Desire seemed to leap up within her like flames, and she simply looked at him with a dazed smile for several moments before inching closer and slowly pressing her lips to the underside of his chin, his neck, and then his chest.

“That good, huh?”

This time Stephanie did giggle, and she felt so giddy with happiness that she nuzzled her face into him and simply basked in the radiance of the moment. How could she possibly convey her feelings right now in something as simple as words? She had found where she belonged, and everything about the situation dazzled her.

“So…” Brian’s voice felt like a sexy rumble when she was this near, and it was incredibly distracting. “I was thinking about us a bit as I woke up. With you being my girlfriend— well, that is, if you still wanted to be my girlfriend—”

Stephanie grinned and began kissing him again, drawing a sensual trail of affection back up his throat.

“—Ah, okay good. Well, with us being together—what do you think about pet names? Like me calling you Sunshine?”

“Sunshine?” Stephanie whispered. She carefully shifted, rising up on one elbow and settling herself partway on top of him. When she splayed her hand across his bare chest, Brian felt so sturdy and firm that she almost lost sight of the question he’d posed her. “I’ve… never really had anyone use a pet name with me. Well, not counting my parents— my Mom always calls me Kiddo.”

She wrinkled her nose cutely at the memory.

“Probably, um. A weird thing to ask about like this,” Brian admitted. “It’s just, Chloe was always real deadset against pet names, thought they were childish and demeaning or whatever— so, I went along with that. But, secretly, I’m then always wishing I could have someone who was into that kinda thing. Even if it’s, you know, cutesy and silly. It’s… I dunno, it’s like a couple thing, right?”

“We are a couple...” Stephanie pointed out, before remembering they weren’t alone and glancing at the sleeping Kelly to their one side and the snoozing Emily to the other. “Well, sort of. We’re… all a big couple?”

“Yeah,” Brian let out a small laugh. “That’s… it’s… I have no clue how this is all supposed to work.”

“It’s going to work,” Stephanie insisted, gently resting her chin on his chest and gazing at him in adoration. “And—I love it. Everything. This. Them. I love you. I love being called Sunshine, it makes me feel like sunshine, this morning. Am I your sunshine? Your only sunshine?”

“You make me happy—when skies are gray,” Brian answered with a doting look.

“You’ll never know dear—how much I love you,” Stephanie sang in a small, slightly embarrassed voice.

“Please don’t take—my sunshine away…” Brian finished. “You’re, uh, well you’re definitely my Sunshine. But, at the same time... I’m kinda glad Emmie and Kell aren’t awake to hear us reciting sappy nursery rhymes to each other.”

“—S’not,” A voice beside them grunted.

“Kelly, you’re awake?” Stephanie blushed, hugging herself to Brian’s chest. “You... don’t think it’s sappy?”

“Super sappy,” Kelly mumbled without ever opening her eyes. “S’not nursery rhyme. Country song. One of most covered American songs.”

“Oh,” Stephanie laughed, dropping to hide her face. “Of course. Sorry, did we wake you up?”

Kelly laid there, completely still and unresponsive.

“Kelly?” Stephanie tried again. “...Kelly?”

“Don’t think she ever actually woke up,” Brian joked with a wry smile. “She just hadta correct us in her sleep.”

Stephanie half-expected Kelly to let out a snort or a sleepy huff in response, but instead the beauty beside them remained completely still, having by all appearances actually drifted off again.

“I think she really fell asleep again,” Stephanie mouthed out in a tiny whisper, sharing an incredulous look with Brian.

“S’okay,” Brian whispered back. “She had a rough night.”

Stephanie’s cheeks seemed to burn at the reminder, and she couldn’t help but squirm a little. There had been… sex, last night. If what they did could even still be considered just sex with how they’d all been involved. She could still feel traces of the deep, sensuous kiss she’d shared with Kelly, scenes of Brian violently fucking Emily senseless danced through her mind, and some of the debauchery that followed was so sordid that Stephanie struggled to believe she’d been a part of it.

“We... all did,” Stephanie admitted with an expression that wavered between several strange, difficult-to-identify feelings. “Kind of.”

“Yeah,” Brian chuckled softly. “Any regrets?”

“Nope!” Stephanie replied immediately, giving his body a reassuring squeeze with her hand. “Loved it. Love you.”

“I love you,” Brian said, seeming to lose himself in her eyes as he traced his fingers through her fluffy pink tresses.

Oh my… oh my God, Stephanie could feel herself swooning at his admission and her eyes began to water. It’s— I can’t, it has to happen, it HAS to. I’m making love with you today. It’s time, it’s PAST time, I’m ready I’m SO ready I’m completely one hundred THOUSAND percent ready for this. I want to be with you. I love you, I love you so much, Brian—I LOVE YOU!

“Of course…” Brian mused, “if I call you Sunshine, what am I gonna call Emmie and Kell?”

“Kitten,” Stephanie decided. “Um. For Emily. Emily should be Kitten.”

“That’s… wow, okay. Yeah,” Brian glanced to the side where Emily slept. “That actually seems to fit almost too well.”

“Right?!” Stephanie grinned. “It sounds cute, but also kinda…”

“Kinky?” Brian supplied.

“That’s it— kinky,” Stephanie agreed. “Cute and kinky; she’ll be your Kitten.”

“I think Kelly’s gonna be the tough one to find just the right cute name for,” Brian said. “Hard to think of something that fits just right.”

“Hmm…” Stephanie pursed her lips thoughtfully at their silly dilemma. “I see what you mean.”

“Honey?” Brian guessed. “Wifey?”

“There’s Sweetie,” Stephanie suggested with a doubtful expression. “Baby?”

“Babygirl, Babydoll?” Brian whispered. “Maybe just Lover?”

“Princess!” Stephanie blurted out.

“Ooh, I think that might be the one,” Brian said, drawing a line down Stephanie’s cheek with his finger. “Princess for sur—”

“Baby,” Kelly interrupted, snuggling in closer to them to fill the space Stephanie had created when she climbed partway atop of Brian. “I only like Baby.”

“So you were awake!” Stephanie accused in a whisper.

“Do I look fucking awake?” Kelly growled, burying her face into Brian. “Lemme fuckin’ sleep.”

“Sorry Baby,” Brian apologized in a low voice. “Think Steph and I are getting up, now.”

Kelly cracked an eye open at him in bleary resignation and gave him a small smacking peck on the cheek before turning over the other way and pulling the covers over her face.

“I didn’t even ask you,” Stephanie realized as she carefully rose up onto her hands and knees to give Brian space to sit up. “How do you feel, Brian?”

Brian paused, and for a moment Stephanie thought he was considering her question. She’d let the bed’s comforter slip down off of her shoulder however, and it quickly became clear that his attention was roaming up and down the curves of her body it had exposed. The crackle of pink flames within her lit up into a roaring fire almost immediately, and she drank in his gaze without making any movement to cover herself up.

It felt good. Beyond good, it felt amazing to feel how much he wanted her, to see those gorgeous eyes of his lingering, to know what sinful temptations the mere sight of her body was effortlessly luring him towards. The effect she had on him was palpable, and it stoked the blazing whirl of her own desires with a generous helping of confidence to burn. Brian made her feel more than just sexy, he made her feel positively seductive.

“I feel… lucky,” Brian said, shifting out from between Emily and Kelly and following her off the bed.

He feels… wait, what? Stephanie tried— and failed— to focus on what he was saying.

When the covers slipped down his body, her higher thought processes seemed to step out of the office for a moment for a brief break. Brian looked delicious, and Stephanie subconsciously swallowed as her line of sight followed down the naked splendor of his masculine body. The trim definition of his musculature took her breath away, and when her eyes finally landed upon the swinging implement of his manhood itself… it… hell, it didn’t feel like her breath was coming back.

Penis. His penis, it’s— it’s a lot of penis, Stephanie ogled him as she slipped back off the bed. It’s, it’s wow. I know from last night it’s not fully, um, ERECT but it’s partway there and it’s SO INTERESTING and I wonder if he’d let me, uh, if he’s okay with me… UHHHH—

“Stop, you’ll make me blush,” Brian kidded her in a hushed whisper.

“Sorry, I… um,” Stephanie’s eyes darted back and forth between his dick and his amused expression. “It’s…”

“Yeah, it was hard for me to get it to go back down,” Brian admitted with a bashful look. “I mean, waking up in a big naked pile with all of you…”

“Y-you don’t have to make it go down,” Stephanie said, slipping into his embrace as he stood and opened his arms for her. Wait, can guys DO that? Just make it go, um, up or down at will? I think I overheard a joke once about that, that involved the pledge of allegiance somehow? I just didn’t really think there was any credence to—

“No, I do— I needed to get up for my morning run,” Brian said. “Running super late— I not only forgot to set the alarm on my phone, I forgot that my phone’s gone. It was… a crazy night, though.”

“We need to get your phone back,” Stephanie frowned, wrapping her arms tightly around him for their hug. “If that bitch—if your ex actually took it, we definitely need to get it back.”

“It’s not a huge deal,” Brian sighed. “Already reported it lost at the con. It’s a seriously old phone—if it’s really stolen, I can just have Emily help me get my service transferred to a new one soon.”

“I… I just don’t like that she has it,” Stephanie admitted. “Also… I’m going to want to call you, right away. Every day, probably. And texts! I’ll send you messages even more, message you all the time. This is… Brian, this is our last day together at the convention…”

That realization hit her like a punch to the gut, and tears sprung back to her eyes. It was Sunday morning—AnimeCon ended today. They had just a few scant hours left to share with each other at the convention, and then it was over. Stephanie and Megan would go back to their university, Brian and the others would likewise have to go their separate ways, back to their distant hometowns, to their jobs, back to real life, and they wouldn’t get to see each other for a while.

“Br-Brian,” Stephanie felt herself choking up. “I’m going to miss you, so much…”

“I’m definitely gonna be missing you, too. But, we’re gonna stay in close touch, right?” Brian planted a kiss on her forehead. “Definitely not gonna get through post-con depression without your help.”

“Post-con depression?” Stephanie tilted her head up to give him a quizzical look.

“Yeah,” Brian chuckled. “I mean, you look forward to a convention for so long, and then you go and have this total blast. When the con’s over and you have to go back to the doldrum every day routine with work and everything… yeah, your mood’s really gonna just drop out from under you, for a while.”

“I hadn’t even thought about it,” Stephanie said in a small voice. “It’s… it’s going to be really bad, isn’t it?”

“We’ll be alright,” Brian promised her. “We have each other, now. Gives us plenty of things to look forward to and be excited for, still.”

“Right!” Stephanie gave him a serious nod.

Then Brian took her by the cheek and kissed her, and Stephanie could only let out a squeak of surprise. A tingle of excitement rippled down her body, leaving goosebumps in its wake, and Stephanie could feel her stiffening nipples standing out to brush against Brian’s naked chest. The ever-present torch of pink flame within her she carried for Brian burned higher and higher, a blazing conflagration that she imagined was rising up out of her and into her lover as their lips locked.

“Br-Brian,” Stephanie moaned, grabbing at his sides.

“Sorry,” he said, running his hand through her pink tresses.

She tilted her head obediently for him as the fingers combed through her hair, because it felt intimate and sexual and amazing—she couldn’t help but shiver as she felt his fingernails gently tracing down the back of her neck. Brian’s other hand was exploring across the line of her hip and rubbing across her bottom, and she arched her back until he was cupping her butt in a firm grasp.

I can feel how he cares about me in every little gesture, Stephanie thought, closing her eyes and simply enjoying his touch. Every little thing he does—it makes me REACT!

“I’m gonna get changed and try to get at least a little bit of a run in before our sleeping beauties wake up,” Brian said, giving her rear a friendly pat. “Probably try and pick up breakfast for everyone like I did yesterday, too. Not sure about Kell, but I know Emmie’s a real bitch to get moving in the mornings if you don’t top her up with caffeine and sugar.”

Stephanie smiled sweetly, glancing over towards the girls. A narrow sunbeam from a gap between the curtains painted the room in morning light, and Kelly had pulled the comforter into a cocoon about her until only a bit of her new bright-red hair was visible. In contrast, Emily was sprawled out on the other side of the bed with sleeping posture so terrible that Stephanie couldn’t imagine it was comfortable. The covers had slipped all the way down to the small of her back, one of her arms was somehow twisted beneath her, and the other was…

“Brian… is Emily sucking her thumb?” Stephanie blinked in surprise.

“I don’t think so,” Brian chuckled. “Not her thumb, anyways. She puts like, that part of the hand that’s between thumb and wrist in her mouth when she sleeps, or sometimes it’s like she’s biting her forearm. No clue why—think it’s just another weird Emilyism.”

“That’s… interesting,” Stephanie remarked, releasing Brian so that he could retrieve his running outfit.

“Guess that’s one way of putting it,” Brian laughed, crouching down beside his bag. “I was tempted to see if I could get her to latch onto me instead, but I was trying to not have to deal with a huge hard-on just yet this morning.”

“A huge ha—” Stephanie blushed. “Her, um, biting you in her sleep, is that a… turn on?”

“Probably depends on how hard she chomps,” Brian joked as he began to dress. “I uh, I don’t know, though. Something about it feels… not intimate per se, but private? Everyone has their own little idiosyncrasies, and getting to be close enough to be part of it with them seems… not like a turn on exactly, but… I don’t really know how to explain it. I guess it’s kind of a turn on? Or a trust thing, maybe? Being with someone at their most… unguarded moments?”

“I-I think that makes perfect sense,” Stephanie blurted out, unable to pretend she wasn’t watching him change. “Is running every morning your private… sort of thing you do?”

“Yeah, I think it is,” Brian nodded as he shrugged on the shirt he’d worn for his run yesterday. “Gives me time to really sort out my head and think about things.”

“Would you ever be okay with…” Stephanie fidgeted with embarrassment. “Me joining you on your run, someday? Or would that be intruding on—”

“That’d be awesome, actually,” Brian seemed to perk up at the idea. “Chloe always seemed to turn her nose up at the idea of running with me. She only ever did her yoga and dance things, she—”

He stopped mid-sentence and his brightening expression quickly disappeared. Stephanie could feel something going wrong in his thoughts, feel the lighthearted morning mood dampening down beneath the weight of something else, something dark and terrible. Before receiving her charm-infused empathy, Stephanie wouldn’t have dwelled much on Brian’s short pause in speech, but now that she was experiencing things on different levels the moment filled her with alarm.

“Sorry. I keep bringing her up, don’t I?” Brian grimaced. “Chloe. I’m sure you don’t want to hear—”

“No no no!” Stephanie exclaimed quickly, raising her hands. “I do want to hear. Whatever you have to say, whenever you want to talk, about anything—I want to hear. I don’t think I like her, but I-I’ll always want to know the circumstances you went through, want to understand. Please?”

“It’s just—” Brian made a face. “It’s like, sometimes, being with you girls, it’s like the breakup feels so far away. Most of yesterday I think I barely even thought about it at all. But then there’s also moments where it just—”

“It’s okay,” Stephanie assured him, hurrying over to wrap him in a hug. “It’s okay. She hurt you, Brian. She hurt you and I don’t want you to keep it from us— I think we can all help you heal. Can I run with you, today?”

“With me now?” Brian asked. “This morning?”

“I packed a compression bra—well, it’s, um, it’s basically a sports top,” Stephanie said. “My sneakers are okay for running. I don’t mean to barge into your private thinking time, but it’s just… we’re almost out of time together this weekend. I want to spend every moment I can with you.”

“Yeah then, let’s run together,” Brian drew his fingers through her hair again. “I feel the same way. Probably would’ve just not ran at all, if I didn’t need to go out and grab Emily-gizer.”

“Emily-gizer?” Stephanie giggled. “Emily energizer?”

“Yep, pretty much,” Brian nodded. “Think you can sneak over there and ask Kelly how she likes her coffee?”

“Of course!” Stephanie said, bouncing up on her tiptoes to kiss her boyfriend on the nose. “And, thank you. I love you.”

“Love you, Sunshine.”

Brian released her with a playful swat across her hind end that put an extra wiggle in her step. Stephanie felt like sunshine, hearing that he loved her lit her fires up within and filled her with relentless energy. She skipped over towards Kelly’s side of the bed, but it felt like she was dancing— she wasn’t sure if her feet were even touching the ground right now. With a brilliant smile that seemed to dispel all the shadows within the room, she crept in close so that she could gently shake Kelly.

“Kelly?” Stephanie whispered.

“Mmrh,” A huff sounded out from the girl bundled up within the covers.

“Kell?” It felt weird abbreviating the girl’s name like Brian did sometimes, but not bad weird. Stephanie had never had the kind of close friends that called each other by nicknames, and once introduced to the idea it was frighteningly compelling. Everyone already just calls me STEPH or STEPHIE anyways!

The would-be sleeper almost completely hidden beneath the comforter remained stubbornly still and silent. When Stephanie stretched out her senses and strained to listen, Kelly felt distinctly grumbly, and Stephanie almost let out a peal of laughter. I really didn’t need empathic powers to confirm that, did I?

“Kelly?” Stephanie asked again, gently reaching out and rocking the girl. “Kelly Baby?”

“Fuck do you want?” Kelly mumbled angrily.

“Sorry! Sorry,” Stephanie whispered. “We’re going to bring you back coffee. Um, how do you like your coffee?”

“Strong.”

“Okay. Thank you. Sorry for disturbing you!” Stephanie whispered, hesitating for a moment. “...I love you.”

That got a reaction at least, as Kelly violently flipped back the covers and rose up onto one elbow. The beautiful girl’s large, naked breasts stole Stephanie’s attention for a moment, but she realized that although it seemed like Kelly was glaring up at her, Kelly’s eyes were in fact still pressed tightly closed. The young woman looked a little angry, grumpy with the way her brows were furrowed, and just when Stephanie was about to stammer out a quiet apology—Kelly wordlessly puckered her lips out for a kiss.

Overjoyed, Stepanie leaned in and kissed her. There was a brief smack of Kelly’s lips upon hers, and then all too quickly it was over. Kelly withdrew back under her covers without having even made eye contact with her.

That was—that was so cute! As she bounced back to her feet, Stephanie couldn’t ignore the warm, fluttery effect Kelly had on her little inner mindscape of whirling fire. It’s… it’s really not like I was STARING at her breasts. Not like that. Right? Although I DO want to kiss her all the time, want her to be like my girlfriend just as much as I want Brian to be my boyfriend. Is that… weird?

Stephanie’s beaming smile continued to light up the hotel room as she bounded over towards her travel bag so that she could change. We’re all a little weird, I guess. It just makes me love them all more and more and more, though!
