Some previews for the next long project. Its in its early stages at the moment but the script is almost finished. Its going to include a literal shit ton of story (60% or so of the video) I've tested out the mocap suit and it is very easy and simple to import and use. Since this is such a long project I want to take my time and plan everything accordingly and not dive head first into the mess. So I'm not doing mocapping for this just yet, im finishing the scenery, storylines, characters clothings hairs and any additional details first. After everything is set in place I'm expecting story-wise to be able to animate up to 2 minutes per day with the mocap suit. The sex scenes will be different and more complex and mostly animated by hand but I'm also going to apply the mocap into those scenes as much as possible.

Most often the concern with mocap is twitching motion within the animation and from my testing the Rokoko application removes all twitching except for some small instances. In these cases the suit uses the feet to assume the position of the character so theres some small situations where the feets position determining the entire rest of the body causes the motion to twitch. All of that is removeable by the software itself or doing multiple captures of one animation.

My personal biggest concern has been audio production and face mocapping and more specifically lipsyncing voicing. None of these are impossible brick walls but complex challenges that i've yet to fully plan out. I've currently got me and one other guy planned to do the audio production however i might increase that to one more person. Estimated release is within 7-12 months. Its hard to say a timeline for this since the mocapping can go one way or the other with how long its going to take but im confident its going to be less than 9 months for the whole project to be finished.

Rendering is a whole another thing though with the whole project being rendered in cycles its roughly 1-5 minutes per frame which equals to around 1-2 months or rendering. I'm excited to work on this project and hope to have some more previews soon!

Theres atleast that one Jack video im finishing before this and I might possibly do some other animations at some point to test out the mocap for shorter animations since I think that has alot of potential aswell.
