Greetings, $5+ peeps! I'm back with another Patreon-exclusive Wrap Up episode. Even longer, more uncut, and more rambling than the last. And go figure that I somehow skipped over an entire video from February, haha. Totally forgot to talk about the Diamond Rio, whoops. At least there's plenty more ground we covered here so oh well.

The general question topic for next time is: questions related to games, hobbies, and entertainment outside of work. Take care and have a good one 👍

Fingers crossed on the house!

Some of the online captioning services out there are decent and pretty low-cost. We've used Rev.com in the past at my company when we got too swamped to make our own CC's.

Yeah I've used them a good few times over the years, especially for 40+ minute vids. Mixed results but it can be handy in a time crunch.

A question for next month's Q and A: Have you had the opportunity to play Virtual Boy Wario Land? It is a rare and expensive game for the Virtual Boy that is considered the best game ever made for the platform. I have a VB, but I can't really rationalize the expense of buying the game (often $100+ for a loose cartridge).

Hey man, just saying keep up the good work again! Congrats on the house. I bought my first place about eight years ago (around the same time I discovered your channel) and there are times I regret it and times it's the best thing ever. It's very scary being on the hook for all the repairs but I also get to do things like run fiber optic10Gb networking through the walls and set up ham radio gear. Hopefully they didn't hook you for too much on the new place, seeing six digits on a loan is pretty scary.

This is a nice video and congratulations on the new house! I have to say, after all your... family-friendly content, it´s really strange hearing you swear :D

Really hoping you get that house, man. I tend to keep my music career and game reviewer/game designer careers somewhat separate even if they overlap so I often get people being surprised when I say I make music too. I kinda quit reviewing games because, yeah, when you make something into a job it kinda sucks the fun out of it. I wanted to keep gaming as something I do for fun and not something I feel any kind of productivity attached to. It's kinda soulcrushing.

Enjoying these a lot. Have enjoyed Techmoan's for years, and the similar vibe is delightful. I know you're a ways off, but I have been looking for an excuse to practice stenotype. So, while I'm uncertain about taking on the workload, if you do get to the point where you're considering farming out the captioning I'd be potentially willing to help out 😊 For the March Update: I could talk modular for DAYS, but I'm curious if you have any experience/fondness for tracker software? When I'm not making SC-55 music or making [entirely too much] noise with modular I am a complete Renoise maven, and something about trackers (probably UT music & old DnB) has always driven my imagination wild. The next release on the schedule is going to be an Industrial Techno record done entirely in Renoise, and I'm pretty pumped for it. Hoping to do a PCB case for the tape as well. Thanks again, these videos are a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to the future editions!

Question: do you have any favorite modern/homebrew games for retro systems? I know you've done videos featuring some of David's games, but I'd be interested to know if you have any other favorites. Also, as a film student, I have to ask: favorite movies? These rambles are a joy, btw - greatly looking forward to the next one! (Whether or not you get around to my questions!) Also super glad to hear that Free Geek got the rest of the Computer Reset stuff! I live in Minneapolis and go there a lot - it's nerd heaven. Best of luck on the house!

As a fellow LHX player, here are some questions for you: - Do you fly all of the helicopters, or like me just the LHX and Osprey? - My favorite missions are Aerial Intercept, Dustoff and Truck Convoy. What are yours? - I find myself playing just the Vietnam map. Do you like any of the others better?

Any online games that you wish you had gotten into back when they were more popular (or still alive)?

Are there any places where you would like to travel to for: - non-tech related, just to explore/relax? - go thrifting?

Hi, Clint. Been a big viewer of yours since your review for The Sims 3: High End Loft Stuff twelve years ago. Jesus, twelve years. I finally have enough disposable income to support my favourite creators, and that includes you. Thanks for over a decade of high-quality entertaining and informative content. My question is actually in regards to The Sims. What exactly do you think The Sims 5 will need to do to reinvigorate the series? Not just in terms of reintroducing features from previous iterations, but also all-new gameplay mechanics. Furthermore, since you didn’t impose a rule explicitly banning multiple questions, you've stated on multiple occasions that you're not as interested in games as you used to be, and I was wondering why that was the case?
