LGR - Far Cry Primal - Game Review

The new Far Cry game takes place in 10,000 BC. And hey, you can ride bears and attack cavemen with bags of bees, so let's see if it's as good as it sounds! Played and recorded on PC.

Damn that game looks boring... basically a huge step back from fc4 which was already mediocre and as i read around, it runs like arse :S, ubisoft definately keeps on digging.

I still consider the bow pretty modern for this era, I mean there where giant civilizations with historical slingshot (They both look and are used differently than today's slingshots) but than again the Chinese had a fucking way more modern crossbow than the europeens ever had back 300 before Christ or so and they forget about it and than the mongols hadn't such a hard time to take over china. So who knows maybe that was pretty Common for this time and place.

I want Far Cry Blood Dragon 2. :( The only sandbox game I loved.

This at least runs better than FC4, but yeah... not the most engaging of games, and really a lot of tedium

I want this too! They've talked about doing another one, and I was thinking they would do so with Far Cry 4. But alas.

Grab some cheese??? You are a man after my own stomach. This game reminds me of Ark with an expanded storyline and without dinosaurs. Have you played that lately? My fiance was OBSESSED with the game for months and then got bored of it after literally doing everything nearly 400 hours of play later. That's not even an exaggeration - he played 387 hours total last I heard. I never got into the game thaaaat much. I only played like, 10-15 hours total. lol

I put a couple hundred hours into it last summer! But yeah, haven't gone back since I binged so hard, haha. Eventually though, they've added a lot more good stuff since then

I'm honestly shocked it was a standalone title - when I heard about it, I was thinking it was to be to FC4 what Blood Dragon was to FC3. Truth be told, I kind of preferred Blood Dragon's smaller focus. These days, large amounts of grinding are a real turn off - especially when there's so much to go through to get to the end.
