LGR - Elder Scrolls: Battlespire - DOS PC Game Review

It may not be The Elder Scrolls III, but it is the third game in the series! Battlespire is a first-person dungeon crawler adventure set in the land of Tamriel, and it's uh... not exactly great. ● Consider supporting LGR on Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/LazyGameReviews ● Social links: https://twitter.com/lazygamereviews http://www.facebook.com/LazyGameReviews ● Grab the game on GOG: http://www.gog.com/game/an_elder_scrolls_legend_battlespire Background music is from the game soundtrack.

Nice review as always. Did you ever play a game called Captain Blood? A review on that would be pretty great if you ever got around to it.

Man... I think there's enough sexual content in this game. First, the ladies in the game, along with that woman on the cover of the first Elder Scrolls game, are scantily clad... and apparently not clad at all on that character creation scene (but I did enjoy that conveniently placed plate of chicken and kitten). Then there was the "crotch bugle" (which looked like one) and then the "anal beads" (which did look like them, too...). Just......... what.

I love the box art. Also, Morrowind review coming?! YES

Do you think you'll end up looking at The Elder Scrolls Travels (Shadowkey)? They're super obscure being on the N-gage and mobile so it might make for a interesting review.

Before Morrowind we need Redguard :-)

I'd say they deserve props for trying to expand the franchise… but considering the letter in the box… it felt like they just *had* to do something to pad things out with Morrowind slipping. I do have to ponder if the refocus from being an expansion pack to a standalone game might have caused them to drag things out a tad (explaining the poorly balanced difficulty in the opening)…

Dat boxart. I would want it on my wall. But this game seems... meh.

I wonder that myself, it really seems like a bunch got overlooked and shoved in there to make it a standalone game real quick

I want that box, and I want a poster of it. I got this on GOG for about 2 bucks I think, and I am glad that I own it, but I'll stick to the later Might and Magic games... speaking of, where are the reviews of that??

I don't think he's going to have a better time with the next game, but at least Morrowind will be there to cheer him up afterward. Depending on how He spaces these, I wonder if I can actually complete Morrowind before that game comes out.

Nudity!
