I just can't get used to chicklet keyboards. I have a very high end engineering laptop at work and I keep it docked most of the time with an ancient ALPS switch keyboard attached to it. I have a Unicomp model M here at home that needs new membranes as a future project, and a keyboard with MX blues (that you recommended) as my main finger punching bag.

I genuinely couldn't get used to them either until using the SteelSeries ones on my MSI. It's godlike compared to other chiclets, haha. But yeah, otherwise it's mechanical all the way for me!

I have the Razer Blackwidow, the 2013 edition that uses Cherry MX Blue switches before they began to make their own key switches. Personally I love this keyboard, and I wouldn't go back to a membrane style keyboard. As for chicklet keys, I've bought a cheap chicklet keyboard for my Raspberry Pi a few years ago and it's terrible to use. the keys wobble about, and they don't work unless you push at the very centre of the key!

I have one on my MSI Keyboard as well, and it's okay for a laptop, but I prefer the mechanical keyboard, like the Razer Blackwidow. I freakin love that one.

I was gaming on a laptop for a for most of high school, so I picked the same keyboard up when I built my gaming PC back in 2010ish. It was okay and did a good enough job for me, but after a few months I had picked up a Logitech G19 keyboard. I still keep the deathstalker as a back up. The deathstalker is one of the keyboards I don't hate nor love.

damn not even 1 joke about using it to shave your face.. *sigh* hehehe... i actually use a chiclet keyboard for my work computer, the logitech solar keyboard. i've used it for gaming, editing and general work stuf like.. ya know..typing, and overall it works really well since it's wireless and charges itself off the lights in most situations, so NO BATTERIES to worry about hehehe. my actual game room keyboard is also a logitech with a built in rechargable battery but not solar and has more of the standard keyboard style.Between the tweo I don't have a preference, so long as the keys spacing is ok and the width and size of the keyboard is standard and not ultra-compact. Though i gre up typing on old Apple IIe computers and they had those great loud mechanical keys.. ahh.. miss those. Every sentences was like WWII artillery going off.. so sweet.

I always love how you throw some history in there.

I don't know about all those expensive keyboards... I bought a Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600. It's basic, but it feels very nice and firm. It's got all the buttons in the right places that I'm used to since 1995 (more space between enter and insert for example that on my laptop keyboard, for example), multimedia keys that I use very often to adjust the sound, a nice solid build quality and big ol' Enter key and Backspace keys. All that for €15. Really, I don't think more expensive keyboards would be better from a price/quality of build POV.

I have a Ducky Shine 3 with MX Black switches. I love it. Sometimes I switch it out for my Model M 102 (pre-Lexmark of course), because buckling spring rules all.

Hey there, I'm a new supporter and I started watching the episodes in order of appearance. I'm almost done with Playlist #2 and I was wondering if EVERY video is in the playlists. Also, pardon my english, I usually speak french. Awesome videos btw, keep em coming !

LazyGameReviews

Hi there! And no, not all the videos are in the LGR playlists. Those are the main episodes, like reviews and things like that. But LGR Plays, LGR Thrifts, and several other series are in their own playlists! Here's the list of absolutely everything though: https://www.youtube.com/user/phreakindee/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=1
