That title could have easily been made with a bored marketer's random Mattel product generator

Alyxx the Rat

LGR and PUR on new adventures involving Barbie and detective work. This is gon' be good.

Alyxx the Rat

Does this mean I can legally change my name to Alyxxandria?

Awesome! You two are my favorite YouTube collaborators to watch.

Remember when Fallout 4 came out and they were all like, People will know you and call you by your ACTUAL NAME (as long as it is one of the 150 or so names we recorded)...

Clint! Thank you for posting this video, Clint! I hope there will be another Barbie video from you, Clint! soon! :)

This is the first thing that came to mind. Barbie was ahead of its time.

How come every clue was (HOT!)

My first thought when I opened the email and saw what he reviwed, "really?" Under the video, Clint said, "Yes, really." 😄

Finally! This was my favorite game as a kid. Its Barbie to the rescue, she always stays in fashion! (also please play the sequel too)

Well, I was going to watch before going to bed buttt... 55 minutes... yikes! Will watch later though!

I came for barbie, I got Clint bacon chewing ASMR.

LazyGameReviews

Yeah we didn't even realize there was a sequel until looking it up after this video. Am intrigued.

Ai dude

The repeated "Clint" part was hilarious.

I had this game as a kiddo and it scared me SO BAD. I remember crying when I saw the dude and was never able to finish it... And now you’ve gone and played it for me 😂

55 minutes? :D what the... :D

The one flaw in this game? No animated water fountain. Plenty of bacon though. XD

Ezydenias

I love it when you two play some games. It is always really fun.

CLINT!! XD XD XD #DED

So I started working on reverse-engineering the game's data files, and it seems it stores all the names in "PINAMES.HUG". I haven't yet gotten a successful extract of a name file (there's some weird compression on them) but I can tell that there's exactly 9,342 sound files for names in the file. I think what they're doing is aliasing names to each other, like "sara" and "sarah" are both SARA.WAV, but they are counting it as two separate names for the "50,000 names" quote on the box.

Nascar with swans. Just when I thought things couldn't get any better!!!

Foone Turing

also I can't BELIEVE they left my name out. I refuse to go by "Fonie", damn it!

The silhouette of the bad guy looks like CLINT! Eastwood in "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly."

I was curious with this one. Didn't think it was going to be my cup of tea. Wrong! Loved it. Random musings as you comment on the game as you to solve the mystery, it had me laughing all the way through. You two are great fun together. More like this please

When I was a wee girl of 4 years, I had hand me down barbie dolls from my sisters. I also had access to my little brothers hot wheels. Seeing how my little brother (3 years old) and I were the best play mates and he didn't want to play with barbie dolls and I didn't want to play with hotwheels we improvised. We took the heads off the barbie dolls and jammed the front of the hotwheels in the hole under the barbie head. We drove them to the "mall" which was just a literal pile of the barbies clothes (btw they were naked when the took their heads, No dignity for them) and took the barbiewheels to the bathroom sink for a "Carwash". We then went on to give the barbiewheels a "new coat of paint" and painted them red so now we had bloody decapitated barbie heads with hotwheel cars in their head holes. We thought it was the funniest thing and to finish it we gave them a hair cut.

Clint!!!!!!😂

I thought "no way I'm watching that all". 55 minutes later, I'm typing this comment. ;-)

I worked for Gorilla in 1996 and worked on Polly Pockets, the Hot Wheels mouse driver and a Barnett bank Netscape Navigator plug-in app. They were basically Mattel’s game developer in the 90s.

I enjoyed this video, I would like see more of this same kind of content

Amazing video! At first thought "Hm, I don't know if I'll spend a whole hour watching this..." then, next thing I know there's a Barbie computer icon temporarily burned into the corner of my Plasma TV. Hilarious episode, well played you two, very enjoyable. It's clear you both had a lot of fun making this one. I'm still curious of the mystery of the format of that video tape... I hope it was at least S-VHS! And that crime computer sure had a long battery life... very mysterious!

Thanks for having Roses on! That was an entertaining playthru

I can’t imagine the amount of time it took to record all those names, let alone all the dialogue for the game it self
