Because I mean, why not. LGR: lazy gas (station) reviews?

Here in Italy this game was called “Need for Speed: Porsche 2000. And I love, I spent tons of hours back in 2000/2001 (and still today I play with it!) and was my Favorite NFS, together with Most Wanted. Nice video, as always!

Texaco! I enherited a massive Texaco memorabilia collection from my grandpa who worked for the company in midland Texas

I wonder if there's a way to import the cars into the main game. I figured that the CDs would let you install the car into the main game if you already owned it and the demo was there only in case you didn't, but I guess they're only installed for the demo. Shame, but surely someone out there knows a way to patch them in.

Please Clint, keep up the random impromptu impersonations :) Loved NFS 1-4, never had the chance to visit 5, went straight onto Hot Pursuit 2, this intrigues me though, if I loved NFS 4 the most, is 5 worth visiting even to this day?

I was just about to say "I wonder if you could merge all 5 demos into one folder and have it work" just as you brought it up in the video yourself. It's too bad it didn't work, or at least wasn't as simple as one would hope/expect.

What are you gonna do with all the other demos/cars that you didn't open? Can I have one? ;-)

LazyGameReviews

Heh, yeah I am still pretty sure it could be done with enough editing. The engine used on NFS3-5 are pretty malleable.

why is it called porsche unleashed in america while in german it is just pursche. I don't get that.

Would you be willing to sell some of the extra copies you have?

Some part of me finds it funny that the cars are die-cast metal, while actual race cars are build of fiberglass and carbon fiber, so it might have been more accurate to mold them in resin.

I've been wondering if you'd ever do a video on these! I'm a huge fan of Porsche and classic gaming. Dollar stores used to be littered with these demo discs/cars for YEARS on end, at least where I live. -Cam

Interesting! Same Texaco-branded ones? Guess they must've had a bunch of unsold inventory leftover

Hey Clint! Shortly after I made my post about the GP2X on your feed, I managed to get my hands on one and I was wondering if you'd like to borrow it for a review? I would love for more folks out there to know about it, and I couldn't think of a more qualified YouTuber to talk about it! Drop me a line if you're interested!

Awesome! I actually got a couple of these from a random dollar store here. I think I had the Carrera RS, 911 Turbo and Boxter versions. Of course, I got these AFTER I had already gotten the full game but, as a kid, I didn't understand that you had to play the Evolution mode to get to drive all of the cars. These were indeed the Texaco versions which came with the die cast cars. I think I still have the cars packed away with all of my Hot Wheels. Not sure if I still have the demo disks anymore though since my dad was a big proponent of throwing everything away even games I had spent money on because he didn't think I wanted them anymore...
