Funny thing for me is that most of the games I've been playing this year came out last year. There's only been a few exceptions. :B I blame the fact that I get most of my games when Steam sales kick in, such as right around Christmas. I think I had about a dozen games gifted to me last year or the year before because of that! :D

Never heard of Elite Dangerous... I think I need to check that out... and Dadliest Catch? How can the pun alone not lure you in!?

I tried spacing out my playtime with Alien: Isolation as much as possible, knowing that a straight 10-15 hours of sneaking around an Alien would get tiresome. I much enjoyed it personally, glad to see it on your list.

Wolfenstein's pretty high on my Pile of Shame - I think during my holiday break from work, that'll be getting a work out on the 360. Divinity & Wasteland I want to check out… but RPG & my spare time don't really mix right now :( I think my best games of 2014 tend towards arcade/twitch style games - TxK, Luftrausers are easily the top of that - both tend to be that type of experience which I can get a quick game in on the train ride to work or such.
