A lot of my art lately has become more detailed and rendered, and when you get complicated with rendering you need to take into account your background a lot more and make the piece & background work well together. Because of that blank colour alt backgrounds are starting to look really weird or silly! So I'd like to make more 2D style drawings from now on because they'll be good for wallpapers & variety while continuing to paint extensions for the rendered art.
