Bad News: For the first time in a few years, I got a debilitating back problem. I laid on my side during an entire electrolysis session without a pillow between my legs. I have very wide hips and it was a hard surface. No pillow between my legs, especially on a hard surface, is a recipe for disaster. Result was I spent five days the week before last in incredible back pain. Some might say I deserve it for what I did to Fiona and to them I say: maybe. But does anyone deserve to never sleep for more than four or five hours a night for six nights in a row? Nay, I say!

I was really really really tired and not feeling good. I finally went to the chiropractor that helped my friend with Parkinson's walk again and they did exactly what I needed. Was expensive because they do X-rays on the first visit and my health insurance doesn't cover them at all. But I had no idea how long it would take to do it through means my insurance would cover. Whenever I schedule any sort of appointment, it's at least a month until I can see anyone and if I waited a month before getting my back fixed, I would've been a basket case.

That's all I'll say about the societal problems we all know about. Luckily, future appointments won't require X-rays and I probably only need one more appointment to make sure things stay where they belong. I figured out how to not have it happen again. I have a rather good back. Just had very bad luck toward the end of November. Sorry if things are a bit slower at the beginning of this month, though I do have two chapters of "Ghosting Through Life" in the final stages of editing. (Yes, I still wrote some while I was in hellish pain. I'm not sure what it would take to stop me and I definitely don't want to find out.)

Good news: Our old stove's electric start has never really worked, nor the oven. Sarah and I had been using my aunt's oven in the main house, but that was mighty inconvenient. While the plumber was over in the middle of last month, he discovered that my aunt's previous hoarder tenant had gotten a mouse infestation and they'd eaten all the insulation off of the wires. After hearing this, my aunt basically said, "Merry Christmas, find a good deal on a brand new stove and I'll buy it."

So we found an insane Black Friday deal for a brand new Samsung gas stove that has a convection oven and can airfry. Both Sarah and I are over the moon at how nice it is.

More Good News: In addition to working on the rest of Fiona's story, I am working on a secret project that I think will be pretty awesome. I am not sure it'll work yet, but everything's pointing at "Yes." In addition to that, the Taur World comic I'm developing with Foxinuhhbox is coming along very well.

Lots to look forward to! Thanks again for supporting me!
