English translation of the May update has been added.

Update

The events in "Alice's Stomach" are now translated into English.

In addition, users can now add their own translation files.

Instructions on how to do so can be found in the Game/Addition/ folder of the distribution.

Adding a translation file will display what is written in the translation file, regardless of the in-game language setting.

It will also use the system font (Arial) for the text window font.

Create a TSV file named OverrideScenarioText.tsv and place it in Game/Addition/ (i.e., in this folder).

It would be most reliable and easy to edit the OverrideScenarioText.tsv included with this game.

A TSV is data in which elements are separated by tabs. In this case, it is important that IDs and text are separated by TAB.

It is easy to export from Excel or Google spread sheet.

Do not touch the ID section. The game will look for the corresponding translated text by ID, so if this is wrong, it will not display correctly.

Also, since this is simply copied from the master data, there may be some text mixed in that is not used in the game.

Special formulas that can be used in the text

[player] Display player name.

[kun] Displays the honorific title for the player set for each character, such as -kun or -san.

The copyright of the translation files belongs to the creators of the translation files.

They may be freely distributed.

The creator of this game (SnowDrop) assumes no responsibility for any problems that may arise from the distribution or use of the translated files.

There are several reasons for adding this feature, but the primary reason is to make the game a little more enjoyable for people from cultures whose languages the author cannot read or write even a little, such as Chinese and Korean.

Also, it is clear that the English translations I make are unnatural, and I wanted to make it possible for users to use them to create better translations and enjoy the game.

For English, I can at least understand the meaning, so if there is a fatal mistranslation, I can at least correct it. However, I cannot supervise other languages because I do not know if there are any mistranslations. Therefore, it is my policy not to officially support those languages.
