EARLY YOUTUBE RELEASE

This is a script from the "Handbook of Hypnotic Inductions" that I came across as part of my course.

SUMMARY

This induction will confuse you into trance. It uses a variety of direct and indirect suggestions as well as spinning a story within a story and has been something I have been studying as part of my course and wanted to have a go at reading it out for all of you!

TARGET AUDIENCE

This is a general, vanilla file with the aim of dropping you into trance and that's all.

SUGGESTIONS

This is just an induction, at the end of the file it will give you the option to bring yourself up when you are ready to or could be used on top of other files to make a playlist.

Really nice. You're such a talented hypnotist and with your studies, have no doubt you'll only get better and better. :)

It maybe due to the fact that I've just been watching a number of technical talks at 2x speed, that I was able to keep up with and discern what was being told to me, to Bob, and to Inskeep. I almost wonder if this would be more effective (speaking solely for myself, of course) if told more slowly so as to lose the context of who is being spoken to or about, making it more confusing who is the subject at any given time? All that said, it's a fascinating induction and I have to wonder if the account is real, or if it's entirely fabricated for the purpose of the induction. I suspect that really, I'm just thinking entirely too much about all of this!

Barking Alien

I found this induction very interesting from a technical standpoint but unfortunately I was completely aware of the technical aspects the entire time. So aware was I, so easy was it to follow and remain conscious of the functionality of the elements, that it didn't work for me at all. Only your own voice and snap had any effect.

Now that is very interesting indeed. See this is why I normally don’t use scripts but am interesting result there. Thanks for the feedback 😊

That was an odd experience. My mind was darting all over the place to keep up with all the things you were describing and I felt like I wasn't able to let go enough to go into trance but when you did the finger snap and sleep bit it really dropped me down into trance.

Undersleeper

Translating "feel this sensation" into even a vague concept of how I might actually do so takes me much much longer than the pace you went at allows for, so I ended up mostly just focusing on the different body areas you mentioned without that. Still, even just that is some pretty nice kinesthetic feels, and I dropped pretty well from confusion over keeping up with where that focus was supposed to go. Good enough for me! :D

Yes, that's part of the body confusion element. It's supposed to use the vagueness and the speed of talking about the various body parts to confuse you to the point of overload.

Interesting. See this is a new style for me so I totally get it and it's funny that a lot of people who are used to my usual work said a similar thing. But it's cool to try new stuff and see that what I normally do is plenty valid :)

Narid Sans

This one was quite effective for me - like most of the confusing inductions. Well done!
