New Patreon incentives, possible changes in the future (Patreon)

So... YouTube has demonetized my entire channel with its 15,000 subscribers and over 6,5 million views. This is very unfortunate, as YouTube has been my biggest source of traffic for couple of years now. I've been extremely lucky to get such a large following for such a niche project, and only a handful of my videos have ever been demonetized.

Now, let's be frank – I've always been on borrowed time on YouTube, as my content can be seen as "containing sexual themes or content isolated for the purpose of sexual gratification", as YouTube so kindly currently defines it. This is not the initial purpose of the content, of course, as it is the literal opposite – but if I put myself in the position of some underpaid YouTube staff consultant, I can completely understand their differing view.

There is the option to reapply for the monetization status at the start of October, but I don't hold high hopes for that. To be monetized again would require for me to pretty much hide most of my videos or reupload them and hope that the new edits would not look too "sexually gratifying" on the eyes of the person who looks upon these things on YouTube.

What will this mean? Will there be videos?

Yes. I enjoy creating videos and I'm absolutely not going to stop doing so. What will be different, though, is that the upcoming videos will be Patreon-only. As I briefly mentioned before, this means that we'll be able to chat more freely with the models, as the video will be published for a very limited and trusted audience – you.

Because Vimeo works well with Patreon to limit the availability of the video to Patrons only, you'll find the future videos over there. As far as I've understood it, Vimeo has a much better video quality, too. Hopefully you'll be happy with these changes.

Future Patreon benefit changes possible – what do you want?

As the "balance" of the Patreon benefits will change due to the upcoming video change, this might mean that adjusting the pricing/benefits might change, too. Patreon has also teased with the possibility to change the main currency from USD to EUR, which would be beneficial.

Any future changes in any of the tier benefits and/or pricing will follow if this becomes available. You will be notified before any possible changes and I'm more than happy to discuss with what you would prefer.

About the Patreon benefit changes: apart from the content itself, I have hardly any idea about what else I could want from you for my money. One thing would be the latex gaming streams, which I always enjoyed (whenever I could actually join them). Maybe the patreons who want to actively participate (rather than just watch), could pay a small fee? Like, really small, only 2$ or something. Of course I understand that the streams are harder to organize now that a babysitter is needed. I already commented under your last post that I'm totally down for more chatting with the models (in the video) and I'm also willing to pay more for this. I looked at the higher tiers but frankly, I'm not interested in the post cards or the posters (how would I explain those to my wife? :D ) But coming to think of it, maybe you could offer a video chat with you and the models, provided they are fine with that. Like, go live on twitch and "hang out" with the patreons in the chat, something like that.

Hi Tuomas, I thought about your question : The videos are great and high quality , nothing to improve I think, what I like more would be behind the scene pictures or daily life situations ( know might be difficult) , maybe sponsor a finance an outfit per Amazon wishlist or maybe interactive vote on the next location and outfit . I like the high resolution downloads, but had trouble if you cut them in different files and I had to Stich them back together . I think I like that models come across very natural and like also the clips with Mia . Have a great weekend Nigel

While I do think that being able to vote for the outfits would be a nice twist, I also feel that taking the choice away from the models would harm the natural vibe that we all love. Think of the various projects where the inital choice of outfit turned out to be not optimal, be it due to size or external conditions like temperature.
