Hello.

With the prom scene over, I'm already satisfied with Solvalley School. Personally, I consider the game "finished" now in the sense that I think the endings are all tied up. Of course, there are characters who don't have their own end scenes, there are certain things that are mentioned in the game and never appear again (like when Kirk gives Alex an alien artifact), but I also don't think it's appropriate to try to make absolutely everything mentioned in a game that doesn't take itself too seriously have a "meaning".

As shown in a poll I did in the past, the majority of my patrons (about 80%) think I should finally move on and leave Solvalley behind, and I think I can do that at this stage without feeling like I've "abandoned" the project.

What I'm doing now is finishing some extra scenes that have been requested. This includes an ending for Doctor Emma, an alternate ending for Lisa (sharing mode), and more. I'm also making an in-game guide, which is basically like the replays gallery, but when you click on one of the scenes, there's a short explanation of how to unlock it.

I wanted to have everything done by the end of February, but unfortunately it wasn't possible. But Solvalley School will definitely be finished in March. After that, I'm going to devote a lot of time to my other projects to speed things up and maintain my goal of at least 6 downloads per year for you patrons.

See you soon!

Note: There are some things in Solvalley that are still a bit rough, like the old Aya scenes that were made a long time ago and are of rather poor quality. There are also some endings that aren't very good, like Lisa's original, which is a bit weak, but I decided not to mess with these things, they'll stay as they are, otherwise I'll spend my whole life working on the game.

It's hard to get 80% of people to agree that the sky is blue, so that's a very strong endorsement of you closing the project. You can, in good conscience, wrap it up and take the 'completed' tag. There is nothing stopping you from releasing a minor bump once a year or so if you felt like adding a drip of content (to scratch an itch you have, or if a whale patron requests it or whatever). That can be a background project, and people won't mind the nostalgia. SVS is a great game, but the reality is your new stuff looks so much better that you don't really want it to be your current flagship project. That being said, I look forward to checking out the endings. Let no mom or daughter in Solvalley go undefiled!
