Hi!

I haven't been able to work much the last two weeks because of guests and also because of the damn gout, holy shit, how I hate that shit. I think I'm going to seek more serious treatment for this thing, like talking to a doctor and stuff.

But let's get down to business. I've changed one thing about the way I work. I used to spend 1 or 2 months creating all the text, images and animations, and then put it all into the game code at once. Now I basically add the scenes to the game as soon as they're done. The advantage of this is that I can easily make patches. For example, let's say I plan an update with 8 scenes, and by the end of the first month, 4 of them are done. With the current way of working, I could easily make a patch available for those who don't have the patience to wait another month.

Above is an example: the dating scene with Valentina is ready with all the animations, audio, text, options, etc., and is already working in the game. By working like this, I can make patches more frequently, which can be particularly useful if an update is taking too long.

I'm going to keep working on the last Solvalley School update, adding the various scenes and so on to finally finish this long project. Right now I'm working on the Anna + Lucy scene that will be added in the harem mode, but I also have a lot of stuff that I want to start turning into in-game scenes as soon as possible.

I also bought an RTX3090 (GPU) and installed it on my PC. I now have the ability to render 3D things properly, which could be useful for future projects and also for Honeymoon Island. Theoretically, I could also use AI for possible applications in my games, like, I don't know, music maybe? I know that music made by AI sounds like total garbage in the form of sound waves, but I don't know, maybe it's possible to make some background music that's bland enough not to irritate, and that only serves to remind the player that the audio is on, so he doesn't have to go through the inconvenience of playing the game on a smartphone next to his wife or family, and suddenly sexual moans start sounding at the device's maximum sound level, lol.

I've also been thinking about different ideas for the next HS Tutor update, which will involve various missions inside the school where the MC will try to show the principal that he's good for something and not just a dead weight costing the school $12 a day. One of the missions is to try to "de-radicalize" Zoe, because she keeps showing intolerance towards homosexuals in the language she uses at school, which will lead to some funny scenes where she clearly won't passively accept the idea of being re-educated. By the way, I've also changed the model of the principal a bit. She'll have a daughter of the MC's age, who will also have mega boobs.

Well, I guess that's it. I'm still under the effects of my latest gout attack and the damn medicine that takes away the pain but makes me feel all nauseous and fucked up in return. So I don't think I'll go back to work now, I'll wait until I'm a bit better, which might take 24 hours, and then I'll resume the remaining Solvalley scenes.

Bye!

Other devs: "Quick Post: I'm not dead yet, sorry I haven't updated lately, my grandmother's cat's graphics card caught fire, love you guys." TK: "Quick Post: [2 pages of amusing commentary and a lewd preview, followed by a summary of plans for the next update]" .... Keep it up, man, you're doing great. "Re-educating Zoe" sounds hilarious, so long as she doesn't really change. She's perfect as she is, and the contrast between the MC's mild personality and his housemate's brutal opinions is a lot of fun. Principal's daughter sounds fun, especially if it leads to the usual mom/daughter shenanigans. Gout sucks. Had it while on an Atkins diet a while back, had to eat nothing but salad for a while until it passed. Gross. Take care of yourself.

Belated Happy New Year to you! Sad to hear about the gout. Hope you'll get well soon! Is the current roadmap complete? If not, I'd posted my lenhthy list of suggestion under your "Two important things" post. If anything, I'd say Sabrina should get some closure as well.

It's not ready yet, there are more suggestions scattered around the Internet that I need to look for.
