After doing a multi-stream with Adeptus Steve and seeing his dick rig for one of his characters in Maya I set out to make my own. I had never heard of spline IK but it's quite powerful despite some limitations. 

To avoid dependency loop conflicts this rig is split into two armatures but they should attach to a character just fine. It's also designed to work with an "entry target" as shown in the gif. 

I hope this helps people learning rigging in blender, this didn't take long to set up but man i wish I knew about spline IK sooner!
