One thing Seth is right about is that the chapter of their arc is over XD.

Aaron can be a stubborn dude, but not without reasoning, but not to the point that he will just suddenly switch to "ok, forget what I said, we're dating now."

But...at least not object to Hila's decision, and tell her, "No, you shouldn't do that."

And Hila wouldn't want to force him to do something he doesn't want to do. 

But there are some things she can do and work around the circumstance instead of just doing nothing.

This is probably not the outcome that some readers might want, but after giving it some time to consider, this route would be more suitable for their character. Both have a mutual understanding.
