F*** My Life Illustrated (Patreon)

I completely forgot I made this comic until this morning. Five years ago, I was asked to do an illustration for the website www.fmylife.com aka FML. I think it's fallen in popularity since then. I almost couldn't remember the name of the website. They collect user submitted sad/funny short stories that always end with "fuck my life." It was one of the first comics I got paid to do for a company. It was surreal at the time. I'm not even sure how they found me. They even interviewed me and repeatedly stated I was from Philidelphia despite the fact I wasn't.

I got to pick from a list of these stories and do an illustrated version of it. I was encouraged to recontextualize the story to give it a funny twist. Here's the one I picked:

"Today, a woman drove through my house. She was texting and eating watermelon at the same time. I didn't know that was even possible, but now my house is condemned. FML"
